Through his countless educational fishing books and television
programs, John entertained, engaged, and inspired generations
of anglers in the UK and throughout the world.
John conveyed his wealth of fishing knowledge in an effortless
manner and his humour and natural charisma reached a
broader audience of anglers than few could ever imagine.
John has had an enduring and close relationship with our
companies and brands over the years and we are thankful for
his dedication to fishing and his endless efforts to help educate
aspiring anglers of all ages.
The global angling community has lost a shining light and
John’s knowledge, warmth, and smiles will be sorely missed.
The knowledge that his profound legacy will continue to
inspire and educate future generations of anglers offers
comfort and for that we are forever grateful.

Terms And Conditions
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER.
UNLESS OTHERWISE AGREED IN WRITING WITH THE COMPANY, ALL ORDERS ARE ACCEPTED UNDER THESE TERMS
AND CONDITIONS.
Terms and Conditions under which Masterline Walker Ltd., here in after called The Company, will supply goods to a
customer located within the United Kingdom, hereinafter called the Customer.
1. Prices and Specifications:
a) Any recommended retail prices shown in the catalogue include VAT at 20%. Wholesale prices do not include VAT.
b) Any prices shown in this catalogue are liable to alteration without notice and orders are accepted at prices ruling at the time of despatch even though we may
receive a priced order.
c) The Company reserves the right to modify specifications according to the availability of material, or our desire to improve specifications.
d) Our agents are not authorised to make any representations or warranties concerning our goods, unless authorised in writing by us, or to negotiate or conclude
sales on our behalf.
2. Handling of Orders:
a) The Company reserves the right to refuse any order without explanation being given.
b) Small Orders. In view of ever rising costs, the Company regrets that it cannot accept orders of less than £30 trade value.
c) Carriage, postage and packing is FREE on all orders above £200 net wholesale value.
d) A minimum charge of £5.00 will be made for spares orders.
e) For orders below £200 net wholesale value, carriage, postage and packing will be charged at £10.00 for delivery to addresses in mainland UK, Scottish Highlands
and N. Ireland.
f) For deliveries to the Channel Islands below £200 net wholesale value, a carriage and packing charge of £85 will be made.
g) Deliveries to the Isle of Man below £350 net wholesale value will be subject to a separate quote for carriage costs.
h) Guaranteed Saturday Delivery, when requested, will carry a £25.00 surcharge on the above charges.
i) The Company will deliver electric motors direct to consumers, in mainland UK only, at a charge of £10.00
3. Delivery:
a) Every effort is made to execute orders in one consignment. In the event of an incomplete first sending, subsequent deliveries will be made until completion of order,
unless the Company is notified to the contrary. Orders not despatched within six months of the required delivery date (due to non-availability of the goods
concerned) and small back orders may be cancelled at the Company’s discretion.
b) Non-arrival of goods. Customers must inform the Company of non-arrival of goods within 10 days of receiving the Company's monthly statement of account.
c) Goods Damaged in Transit must be advised to the Company within 3 days of receipt. Parcels showing obvious signs of damage should be refused
by the customer for the carrier to return to the Company. Signature of the delivery note normally indicates that the Customer has received the goods in good
condition and invalidates any claim on the carrier for damage in transit. N.B. The Customer should always sign the carrier's delivery note "Unexamined" in
order to ensure that goods damaged in transit, and covered by insurance, may be claimed for.
4. The company reserves the right not to accept orders from customers who do not have a bone fide retail outlet.
5. Title to Goods and obligation to insure:
a) Ownership of all goods supplied by the Company shall remain vested in the Company and the Company reserves the right of possession of the same until all
monies due from the Customer to the Company are paid in full.
b) The Customer shall keep and store all goods in such a manner that they can be readily identified as items belonging to the Company.
c) The Customer hereby irrevocably grants permission to the Company, or its representatives, to enter upon any premises owned or under control of the
Customer and if necessary detach the goods from such premises or from any other goods or property.
d) The Customer shall have power to make bona fi de market sales of the goods for the benefit of the Company and the Customer shall hold all proceeds of sale
of such goods in trust for the Company.
e) The certificate of the Company’s Auditors as to the amounts to be paid to the Company and the times of such payments, shall be binding upon the Customer and not
subject to arbitration or dispute in a Court of Law.
f) Insurance. All goods supplied to the Customer shall be at the Customer’s risk at all times while in the possession of the Customer. The Customer shall, at his/her/their
own expense, establish such full insurance as a prudent businessman would do. The Customer shall hold the proceeds of any insurance claim relating to goods
supplied by the Company, but not yet paid for, in trust for the Company.
g) It is a condition of these terms and conditions that the Customer will not sell any of the Company’s goods to any other retailer, distributor or other person for re-sale on
a commercial basis.
6. Returned and Faulty Goods:
a) Goods returned to the Company will not be accepted unless prior agreement has been reached with the Company. When the reason for the return is not the
fault of the Company, a 15% handling charge may be deducted from any credit note together with any repacking costs incurred. When credited, goods will be
credited at the actual net price invoiced having allowed for any free stock or other incentives of which the Customer had taken advantage at the time of ordering.
b) Faulty Goods. Any faulty goods returned to the Company will be repaired and returned to the Customer. In the event of an end consumer demanding a replacement,
the Customer should contact the Company prior to agreeing to give one.
c) In respect of any goods supplied by the Customer to an end consumer outside of the United Kingdom, the Company reserves the right to deal only with the Customer.
Any costs incurred in retrieving the goods from, and sending replacements to, the end consumer will be solely at the expense of the Customer and not the Company.
7. Settlement Terms: Invoices become due on the despatch of goods. When indicated on the invoice, settlement discount may be taken if payment is received within the
stipulated timescale AND ALL PREVIOUS INVOICES HAVE BEEN SETTLED IN FULL. Any invoices not paid within 30 days of the end of the month of invoice will be treated as
overdue. We accept the use of MasterCard, Visa and BACS for payments.
8. Treatment of Overdue Accounts (Please don’t let it get to this!)
a) Where customers have overdue invoices, the Company reserves the right to withhold further shipments.
b) Credit Charges. A credit charge of 1% per month back-dated to the last day of the month of invoice may be charged on all overdue accounts. A further
handling charge of £3 per month will be added to that credit charge to cover the cost of preparing additional paperwork.
c) Debt Collectors, Solicitors and Court Charges, where incurred by the Company in relation to collecting overdue monies owing to the Company, will be payable by the
Customer.
d) In the event of cheques having to be represented to the Customer’s bank for any reason whatsoever, the Company will add a £25 charge to the Customer’s
outstanding account for each unsuccessful presentation.
e) These Terms and Conditions shall be construed in accordance with English law and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
9. Extended Payment Schemes:
a) All invoices under extended payment schemes are strictly net and settlement discount does not apply.
b) In the event of the Customer failing to make payments as agreed under the extended payment scheme the Company may immediately pursue the Customer for the
entire outstanding account as being overdue for payment.
10. Prepayment: Prepayment may be requested on orders for non-catalogue products.
11. Data Protection Act: In accepting the company’s offer to open and maintain a credit account in the Customer’s name, subject to these Terms and
Conditions, it is understood that the Company may exchange relevant trading history with other interested parties, which information may be used in assessing credit.
12. Continued application of these Terms & Conditions: These Terms and Conditions will continue to apply if the Customer changes their corporate status e.g.
becomes a Limited Company

HIGH QUALITY CARBON BLANKS John’s idea for the new series of rods was to create a rod that
can be used for big fish situations across the globe, so strength

John’s main design brief was to be able to play very large fish with

confidence over long drawn out periods and to do it comfortably.
RUBBERISED GIMBAL BUTT John had a great idea to allow for maximum strength and this
was to produce a rod with a longer tip and shorter butt section.
EVA HANDLES AND FORE GRIP The longer tip that features on the 2 piece blank gives anglers
more confidence in putting extreme pressure on fish as the tip
has no joints throughout to cause any weak areas when playing

such large fish, the only joint is the connection to the butt section
which has been strengthened suitably to cope with extremes of
big fish angling. To complement the range we have also made
the same rod into a 4pc travel version that features equal length
sections and comes supplied in a protective hard tube for travel
situations where long rods can be a hindrance to carry.
