TRANSFER TRANSFER 2019 RESIDENTIAL ARRIVAL AND MOVE-IN 1THE ARRIVAL AND MOVE-IN PROCESS
On Saturday, August 31, please plan to move in between Entering Campus
10 a.m. and noon. All transfer students will receive their
move-in and orientation materials at Manchester Village Enter campus through the service entrance off of Via

• Turn north on Via Las Cumbres from Linda Vista

• Park temporarily in the reserved spots around the
entrance to Manchester Village.
• Report to the check-in table at Manchester Village to
receive your Transfer Fall Orientation materials and
your housing information to check in to your room.
Step 2
• Proceed to the Manchester Village structures by
following Torero Way around Building 1 (the three-
story building). Turn left and proceed into the
structure.
• Please park your vehicle in the appropriate structure.
Rooms ending in -01 through -15, turn left at the
entrance to Building 1. Rooms ending in -21 through
-40 go forward to the entrance to Building 2.

• At the top of the hill, you will reach a stop sign.
• Turn right for Palomar and Cuyamaca Halls.
• Turn left for Borrego and Laguna Halls.
• Park your vehicle in the areas surrounding your
assigned hall. Volunteers will help unload your vehicle
and move your items to your residence hall room.

• Report to the check-in table at Manchester Village to
receive your Transfer Fall Orientation materials and
your housing information to check in to your room.
Step 2
• Proceed to the University Terrace Apartments by
following Torero Way up the hill.
• Go left when you reach the stop sign on the top of the
hill. Proceed around the Alcalá Vistas Apartments to
the East Entrance of campus.
• Go right onto Linda Vista Road and forward through
the traffic light at the Main Entrance. Turn left onto
Goshen Street (first left past the Main Entrance).
• The University Terrace Apartments will be on your left.
Step 3
• Safely park your car on Goshen Street, Mildred
Street, or in the small parking lot directly behind
the University Terrace Apartments. Welcome Team
student leaders will direct and assist you with your
belongings.
• A resource desk will be located in front of UTA 1347A
to answer questions and provide you with assistance.
• Long-term parking during Transfer Fall Orientation
for University Terrace residents is located in the
Main Parking Structure. The Main Parking Structure
is located in the center of campus and is adjacent
to the Main Entrance. The University Terrace
Apartments has a very small parking lot behind it.
The Main Parking Structure is in close proximity to
the University Terrace residence hall area by crossing
Linda Vista Road.
