Our role: We were principal engineer for this 94,000 seat venue, delivered for the 2010 World Cup. On a cost per seat basis, it
is one of the most affordable modern stadiums in the world. The design addressed high wind uplift and dynamic crowd loading
forces, as well as long-term subsidence caused by gold mining in the area. n
