AMIGo Guide
What is AMIGo?

Atlas Mobile Information on the Go (AMIGo) is a mobile travel app for both Android and iOS
devices and is available exclusively to Atlas Travel clients and their travelers.

AMIGo connects you to all aspects of your scheduled trip and keeps you informed of itinerary
changes and updates automatically. AMIGo is with you every step of your journey, making sure
you always have the information you need at your fingertips.

Please note: AMIGo can be customized to suit your company’s or organization’s needs, and features may vary.
Links, icons, or services enabled vary by account, and your AMIGo screen and user experience may not match some
example screenshots in this guide. This guide is based on the most common AMIGo configuration, and will use a
combination of screenshots from both the Android and iOS (Phone) platforms. The behavior of the AMIGo app is
virtually identical in both platforms, however your view may differ depending on screen size and mobile operating
system.

With AMIGo you have:

       Full access to all of your itinerary details (Air, Car, Rail, Hotel, and Ground
        Transportation)
       Offline destination maps and geolocation with street search
       Real-time visual display of surrounding places within distance, ratings and opening
        hours
       Offline directions by foot, subway and car
       Trip sharing, location sharing, airport directions
       Trip Journaling
       Access to:
            o Uber integration
            o Airport transfers
            o Travel insurance
            o Baggage Insurance
            o Visa and Passport service
            o Lounge Access
            o Attraction tickets, city cards, tours and activities
            o Quick access to your designated agent team and support

How do I get AMIGo?
Invitation Email
After your company or organization signs up for AMIGo, the most common way to get the app is
to follow the instructions on the email you will receive after your next reservation is made with
Atlas Travel. The email is sent from Atlas Travel amigo.notify@atlastravel.com and will include
links to both the Apple and Google app stores, your Username (registered email address), and
Password. There are also instructions on how to log on to the desktop view and how to
download a PDF version of your itinerary.

Alternately, you may search for the AMIGo app on Google Play (Android users) or the App
Store (iPhone/iOS users). Best search term: atlas travel amigo.

Can I change my password?
Passwords can only be changed from the desktop version.

In the upper right corner of your screen, select the dropdown arrow next to your name.

Select My Profile

Under your name and email address, if you click in the PASSWORD box, a second box will
appear. Enter your new password in both boxes and click SAVE.

Remember to use your updated password on your mobile app.

What if I forgot my password or lost my invitation email?
Once downloaded, open the AMIGo app and click the ‘FORGOT PASSWORD?’ button. You will
receive a pop up notification advising an email with authentication information has been sent.
NOTE: it may take several minutes (about 5 or so, based on previous testing) for you to receive
the email. If you don’t receive the email, ensure the email address
“amigo.notify@atlastravel.com” is not identified as “junk” in your email settings.

Using AMIGo
What trips are available for me to see in AMIGo?
Trips booked with Atlas Travel either with an agent or via your company’s self-service online
booking tool (OBT) are available in AMIGo after ticketing/invoicing. Trips are listed in date order.
Past and cancelled trips are kept in the AMIGo system for reference.

Viewing your trip in AMIGo – Trip Screen
After successfully installing and entering your login credentials, your AMIGo app will display
your next upcoming trip. If you have previously viewed another trip, your screen will
automatically display the last trip you were viewing.

My Trips
The My Trips link will list upcoming, current, and past trips. Cancelled trips are included for
reference. Click on the trip name to load it.

Downloading Destination Guides
The first time you load a trip, you will see a status wheel on the right side of the Destination
Guide graphic and a message indicating that the system is downloading your offline guide.
Many of the features of your guide can be used while you are not connected to cellular data or
Wi-Fi services. If there has been an update to a guide previously downloaded, the guide will re-
download for the latest version.

NOTE: If the destination guide is particularly large (foreign language phrasebooks, larger map
areas, large sightseeing options, etc.), the guide may take some time to load. If the download
times out, you can cancel the download, continue using AMIGo, and try the download again
later.

Trip Name
The AMIGo trip name includes your destination or destinations and the Atlas Travel Record
Locator.

Connecting cities are not normally considered destinations, however guides for some
connecting cities may be included if the connection exceeds normal connecting times or
requires an overnight stay. For example, a round-trip itinerary from New York to Los Angeles
connecting for two hours in Chicago on the outbound, and one hour in Atlanta on the return
would result in AMIGo naming the trip “Trip to Los Angeles (ABCDEF)”, and would include just
the Los Angeles destination guide. However, if a trip was from Los Angeles to Abu Dhabi, and
the connection over New York required an overnight, the trip name would be “Trip to New York
and Abu Dhabi (ABCDEF)” and include guides for both New York and Abu Dhabi.

Menu Bar
The Menu Bar contains options for contacting your designated Atlas Travel Team, a link to your
company’s Online Booking Tool when applicable, ancillary services (BOOK), and a MORE
menu for journaling and sharing your trip.

Contact
You will be taken to the contact screen where you will see the following icons:

       The phone icon will open your devices phone and prepopulate
        your assigned Atlas Travel team’s phone number
       The @ icon will open your email and prepopulate the “to”
        section with your assigned Atlas Travel team’s email address
       The link icon will take you to the Atlas Travel website,
        www.atlastravel.com
       The Facebook icon will take you to the Atlas Travel Facebook
        page
       The Twitter icon will take you to the Atlas Travel Twitter page

There is also a section with general AMIGo information and
instructions on how to contact support.

Online Booking Tool Link
Some companies will include a link to their designated self-service booking tool. When
available, selecting the tool’s icon from the Menu Bar will open the OBT’s mobile app or you will
be directed to the corresponding booking site. If there is an app available for the tool, and not
yet installed, you will be given the option to install the app.

The BOOK and MORE Icons
Informational and ancillary services will vary according to your AMIGo’s configuration as set by
your company, but typically include services such as:

       Ground Transportation (“Black Car”) booking
       Airport Parking
       Baggage Insurance
       Trip Insurance

Destination Guide
Your guide has four components:

    1.   Your destination name and dates you are there
    2.   An itinerary link

Itinerary
The itinerary link displays your dates and accommodation for each day. There is an icon with
three dots in the lower right hand corner which expands to include more options. Most important
is the genius icon which will allow you to plan activities according to date and preferences.

       Attractions, restaurants, nightlife, shopping, hospitals, embassies, etc.
       Offline maps and directions by foot, subway and car
       Trip Genius™ suggests automatically optimized itineraries
       Background and practical information for trip destinations

       Augmented reality, nearby places, postcards and more

NOTE: Using the AROUND ME functionality when you are not actually in the corresponding
destination guide city will result in an error. This also applies when your physical location is
outside of the area defined by the corresponding guide’s mapping. For example, if based on my
flight information, the guide included is for Boston, Massachusetts, but I am actually in Bangor,
Maine, you will see the following error when attempting to use the AROUND ME function:

Map Link
The map link will open to your destination city’s guide map and will include searchable points of
interest.

Trip Details
Tapping on any component of your reservation (flight, car rental, hotel, rail, etc.) from the main
trip page will open the details page for that part of your itinerary.

Flight details

       Airline and flight number, times, terminal and gate (when available)
       Directions to your departure airport and Uber link
       Flight duration
       Airline reservation (record locator) number
       Seat assigned
       Weather for arrival airport
       ONLINE CHECK IN LINK

Online Check In
Clicking ONLINE CHECKIN will bring you directly to the carrier’s web check in page, and give
you the details you need to complete the process. If you are too early, you will be advised.

Flight Notifications
Depending on your company’s AMIGo configuration, you may receive flight notifications and
check in reminders. Your mobile device must have “push notifications” enabled to receive
notifications on your device. If you are already getting notifications directly from the airline and
don’t want duplicates, you can choose to disable push notifications from AMIGo on your device.

FAQs

I know my company is using AMIGo, but I didn’t get an invitation or lost it? How do I get
the app?
You may search for the AMIGo app on Google Play (Android users) or the App Store
(iPhone/iOS users). Best search term: “atlas travel amigo”. After you download and install, use
the lost password function and your company email address.

I forgot my password or accidently logged out of the app.
You can use the lost password function on the login page.

I accidently removed the app. Can I get it back?
You may search for the AMIGo app on Google Play (Android users) or the App Store
(iPhone/iOS users). Best search term: “atlas travel amigo”. After you download and install, use
the lost password function and your company email address. No trips will be lost.

My company is using Flight Notifications, but I don’t receive any.
Make sure that your mobile device has enabled “push notifications” for AMIGo.

Why don’t I see Uber anywhere on my AMIGo?
Your company has chosen not to enable Uber on your app.

Mapping and directions don’t work for me.
Make sure that your mobile device is allowing AMIGo to use “location services”.

I’m trying to use “Around Me” in the guide, and AMIGo tells me I haven’t arrived at my
destination.
Using the AROUND ME functionality when you are not actually in the corresponding destination
guide city will result in an error. This also applies when your physical location is outside of the
area defined by the corresponding guide’s mapping.

I see an option to add items to my itinerary. I’m going to a conference, and I booked my
hotel directly. I have an air reservation. Can I add my hotel?
Some companies allow AMIGo users to add non-Atlas reservations to AMIGo. You will see an
“Add Item” link with instructions. If this is enabled for your company, you can forward your
reservation confirmation to trips@atlastravel.com. You will then receive confirmation of receipt
of the reservation details, and confirmation of the success of the import. Not all non-Atlas
reservations import successfully, so keep an eye out for confirmation.

PLEASE NOTE: Currently, services and accommodations not booked by Atlas Travel and
forwarded to and subsequently included in the AMIGo app itinerary are for the traveler’s
reference only. Atlas agents will not have access to or be aware of these traveler-added
services. Any changes to or help with these travel plans booked outside of Atlas Travel will
need to be handled directly with the service provider.

A reservation must exist with corresponding dates in the Atlas Travel system in order to add
non-Atlas reservations. A trip booked entirely outside of Atlas Travel, will not have a
corresponding “trip” in the AMIGo system. For example, you can add a hotel to an Atlas
reservation that only contains flight information, but not if it is a “hotel only” reservation with
no match in the Atlas system.

Can I book travel reservations in AMIGo?
Depending on your company’s configuration you are able to connect directly to your online
booking tool’s mobile offering. AMIGo is not a stand-alone air, car, rail, or hotel booking platform
at this time. However, your company may opt to include the ability to book car service, pre-
reserved airport parking, lounge pass purchases, city and attraction tours, insurance and/or
other ancillary products through the “BOOK” option in the AMIGo menu.

What if I see duplicate information in my itinerary?
If your reservation has been changed or modified in any way (upgrades, seat assignments, or
schedule changes) the airline will send Atlas Travel a confirmation of the change which will
resemble in a duplicate reservation showing in AMIGo. If you have any questions regarding the
status of your reservation please contact your assigned Atlas Travel team.

My phone is filling up with old guides. Can I delete guides to make room?
Go to “settings” by clicking on the cogwheel in the upper right corner of your screen. From there
you will see the option to delete guides and maps. Simply choose the city to delete the guide.

What default settings can I change in AMIGo?
You can change your Home Currency and Distance Unit (Miles or Kilometers) in the Settings
section. From any trip page, click on the cogwheel in the upper right of your screen.

Where can I get help?
Tip: Like a lot of apps, closing the app and logging out and logging back in cures a lot of issues,
but if you still need help. Please email amigo.support@atlastravel.com for assistance.
