lies,dishonestyandfraudsisveryhigh.Ourvaluesareembeddedinthefourpillarsofethicsandthefour
principlesofpractice,andbehaviorthatisinbreachofthesevaluesisunacceptable,andmayresultinpenal
actionagainsterringCIMA®quali cationholders.

 PillarsofEthics
 AllCIMA®quali cationholdersarerequiredtoconductthemselvesinkeeping

 UnconditionalAllegiancetoDutifulness
 CIMA®quali cationholderswillalwaysexhibitthehighestregardforcompletingassignmentsontime
 withfocusondeliveringresults;addingvaluetotheprocessofmanagementdecisionmakingprocess;
 andaidingmanagerswiththemostaccurate nancialinformationtheyrequiretotakesounddecisions.

Duringthecourseoftheirprofessionalpracticeasinvestment&managementaccountants,CIMA®quali cationholdersmay
encountersituationsorbehaviors(ofcolleagues/seniors/clients/vendors/governmento cialsetc.,)thatareeitherblatantly
dishonestandunacceptable,orposeethicaldilemmas,andmakeitchallengingforthemtoadheretothefourpillarsofethics.
Insuchsituations,CIMA®quali cationholdersmustattempttoactinconsonanceofthePrinciplesofPracticethatwehave
laiddown.TheseprinciplesaresacrosanctbecausetheyhelpkeepCIMA®quali cationholderspracticinginvestment&
managementaccountingintheirjobsortheirownbusinessupright,withouthurtingthemselvesorotherpartieswhoareon

StayLatestonKnowledge&Skills
AllCIMA®quali cationholderswillalwaysensurethattheirknowledge,understandingandinsightsaboutlaws,regulations,
practicesandstandardsstaylatest,andtheirskillsofusinglatesttoolsandtechniquesofinvestment&management
accountingisonpoint.AdheringtothisprinciplewillhelpCIMA®quali cationholderstakeaccurate,correct,clearand
e ectivedecisionsandpre-emptrisksofbeingabused,defraudedandthreatenedbyanypartyorindividual.

SticktoHonesty&Integrity
AllCIMA®quali cationholderswilloperateintheirprofessionwithutmosthonesty,avoidingalltemptationsoractsor
decisionsthatmaygiverisetocon ictsofinterest,orpresentaperceptionofabuseofone'spowerordesignationorposition.
