CAS scheduling guide Once you are authorized to take a CAS certification exam, you will receive an authorized to test email from Pearson VUE. The email will contain information such as your Customer ID which is needed to set up your Pearson VUE web account. Complete your profile via web To complete your Pearson VUE web account profile, go to www.PearsonVUE.com/CAS and click the sign in button. Enter your first name, last name, and your Customer ID. Verify all fields and notify the CAS of any incorrect or missing information. Please ensure your name matches the ID that you will bring to the testing center. CAS scheduling guide 3
Create your username and password. Answer the security questions and choose finish. CAS scheduling guide 4
Your profile and account creation have been successfully completed. Schedule an exam To schedule your exam, sign in, or if you are already signed in go to the dashboard. CAS scheduling guide 5
The dashboard will list the exams you have been authorized to test for. Click on the exam you wish to schedule. Review exam details. CAS scheduling guide 6
Provide additional information. Confirm exam selection. CAS scheduling guide 7
Find your test center. Select a date on which to take your exam. You can scroll through the calendar or select an option from the drop-down menu CAS scheduling guide 8
Review the available exam times and select the one you would like to schedule. Review your order to make sure the selections you have made are correct. Then click proceed to checkout. CAS scheduling guide 9
Review CAS policies and accept when you are ready to proceed. Review your order to make sure the selections you have made are correct. Then click submit order. CAS scheduling guide 10
You’ve successfully scheduled your exam appointment. Click return to the dashboard to view your upcoming appointment. Details of your upcoming appointment can be found on the dashboard. CAS scheduling guide 11
Reschedule an exam Sign in and go to your exam appointment details. Click on reschedule. (Pearson VUE has a 48-hour cancellation policy.) Change the test center and/or a select new date. CAS scheduling guide 12
Choose a new time. Review cart and proceed to checkout. CAS scheduling guide 13
Review and accept CAS exam policies. Review new appointment and confirm reschedule. CAS scheduling guide 14
Your appointment has been rescheduled successfully. You will receive an email confirming the change. CAS scheduling guide 15
Cancel an exam Sign in and go to your exam appointment details. Click on cancel. (Pearson VUE has a 48-hour cancellation policy.) Confirm cancellation. CAS scheduling guide 16
Agree to policies and confirm cancellation. Your appointment has been cancelled. Note the status is canceled in the bottom right corner. You must contact the CAS to inform them of your cancellation status. CAS scheduling guide 17

Casualty Actuarial Society Policies
Admission Policy
We ask that you arrive at the test center 30
minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
This will give you adequate time to complete the
necessary sign-in procedures. If you arrive more
than 15 minutes late for your appointment, you
may be refused admission and the exam fees will
be forfeited.
You will be required to present one form of
original (no photo copies), valid (unexpired)
government issued ID that includes your name,
photograph, and signature. The first and last
