To fully and safely enjoy the benefits of your new product, please read the
manual fully before use and keep safe for future reference.Safety information
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following;
• This appliance is intended for indoor, household use. Unintended
use or operation may result in personal injury, damage to property
or damage to the appliance that will void the warranty.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision and/or instruction concerning safe use of the
appliance and the understanding of hazards. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children unless they are older than 8 years old and
supervised.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8
years old.
• Never handle or operate any appliance with wet or moist hands.
• Do not immerse appliance, cord or plug in water or other liquids.
Take care whilst cleaning.
• If the appliance has fallen in water do not reach for it, immediately
switch the appliance off at the mains and unplug it.
• Ensure that the cord is not in a position where it can be pulled or
tripped over accidentally. Never use the cord to carry or pull the
appliance. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or
counter.
• Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not use the appliance if it has malfunctioned, been dropped or
damaged in anyway. If the unit has been damaged take the unit for
examination and/or repair by an authorised service agent.
• Do not attempt to open the appliance, repair or modify the
appliance, use the appliance for unintended applications or use
accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, electrical
shock, or risk of injury to persons.

• Always remove the plug safely from the socket after use. Do not
pull from the cord.
• Ensure that all packaging is removed before use.
Appliance specific safety information
• Do not immerse the appliance in water, rinse under a tap or
clean in a dishwasher.
• WARNING: Do not overfill.
• The fluid level for the frothing and stirring attachments are marked
on the inside of the heating jug.
• WARNING: Ensure the frothing and stirring attachments are
securely fitted.
• Do not operate the heating jug if the volume of milk is below the
minimum fill level.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended.
• Do not place fingers or utensils into the jug during operation.
• The base of the heating jug becomes very hot. Always return the
jug to the power base rather than surfaces that may be damaged.
• The heating jug is not suitable for use in a refrigerator or freezer.
• Do not place the heating jug on or near a heated grill.
• The heating jug must only be used with the base provided.

4Before first use
• Unpack the box with care, keeping all the packaging materials until you are
satisfied everything is present and in working order.
• Before using the appliance for the first time please clean the heating jug and the
accessories, as described under the “Cleaning and Care” section of this manual.
Choosing your whisk
The milk frother includes two different whisks. The functions of these whisks is to
choose between the option of frothing milk and the other for heating milk.
• The milk frothing whisk (9) includes a plastic housing with a metal spiral ring. Use
this to create frothed milk for beverages such as cappuccino and latte macchiato.
• The milk heating whisk (10) is slightly smaller and does not include a metal spiral
ring. Use this whisk to create heated milk for beverages such as a hot chocolate
and caffè latte.

5How to use
The appliance can heat milk up to 65°. Heating times are approximate and will
depend upon the type of milk and milk temperature taken from storage.
1. Choose the correct whisk and attach to the motor drive in the base of the
heating jug. Do not operate the appliance with no whisk in place.
2. Ensure that the milk level in the heating jug is filled above the minimum level
and below the maximum level for the attachment being used. The top MAX line
is for heating milk, the bottom MAX line is for frothing milk. Do not overfill.
3. Close the lid and ensure that it is fully sealed.
Please note: The milk frother will need approximately 2-3 minutes between uses
before it can be used again. Allow the thermostat to reset before frothing or
heating more milk. Always rinse and dry between each use to remove the milk
deposits.
Frothing and heating or heating only
• Once the suitable whisk has been fitted, pour in the desired amount of milk,
ensuring it is above the minimum and below the maximum line for the desired
attachment. (See table on page 5).
• Ensure that the lid is securely fitted and begin by pressing the ON button. The
blue and red indicators will illuminate. When the milk is frothed or properly
heated, the blue light will automatically switch off. When the red light begins
flashing, it indicates the milk is ready for use.
• To stop the cycle at any time, press on the ON/OFF button.
Frothing only
This function is ideal for creating cold frothed milk for beverages such as cold
coffees and iced lattes.
• Select the frothing whisk and attach it to the motor drive.
• Pour in the desired amount of milk, ensuring it is above the minimum and below
the maximum line for the attachment.
• Ensure that the lid is securely fitted and begin by pressing the ON button. The
blue indicator will illuminate and the whisk will begin to rotate. When the milk is
frothed the blue light will automatically switch off. When the red light begins
flashing, it indicates the milk is ready for use.
• To stop the cycle at any time, press on the ON/OFF button.
Please note: The appliance will not cool the milk.
Please note: If the blue light begins flashing, there is too much milk in the appliance
and is in danger of malfunctioning. Turn the appliance off at the socket and pour
out the milk until it is at the designated, suitable level.

Hints and tips
• If adding the frothed milk to a hot drink, prepare the beverage such as coffee or
hot chocolate whilst the frother is in use. Serve immediately for best flavour.
• When using the heat setting, the frother will heat the milk to the ideal
temperature for your coffee or hot beverage without making it too hot to drink
right away.
• Avoid using anything other than milk in the frother. Add items such as
flavouring, syrups, coffee of hot chocolate could cause damage to the appliance.
If extra ingredients are added, ensure the appliance is cleaned immediately.
• Use whole milk (fat content >3.0%) for best results.
• Use the lid storage location to store the attachment not being used. The
attachments are small and can easily be lost.
7Cleaning and maintenance
• Remove the plug from power supply. Remove the jug from the power base
before cleaning.
• Never immerse the jug or the base into water or hold under running water.
• This appliance and its accessories are not dishwasher safe.
Caution: To avoid damage or scratches on the heating jug surface, do not use
abrasives or metal objects such as scouring pads or hard nylon brushes or a metal
brush.
Cleaning the lid
Remove the silicon ring and wash each piece in warm, soapy water. Dry and
reassemble for easier storage.
Cleaning the accessories
Remove from the jug. Wash with warm, soapy water. Dry and store in a safe place.
We recommend using the storage location on the lid.
Cleaning the body
Clean with a dry, soft cloth.
Cleaning the heating jug
• Always clean immediately after each use. Flush and clean the walls using warm
soapy water and a non-abrasive cloth. Then dry with a soft cloth.
• To remove stubborn milk deposits in the heating jug and the motor drive, use
equal part solution of bicarbonate soda and water to create a paste. Apply the
paste to the areas where the milk deposit has accumulated and leave for at least
15 minutes. The longer the solution is left, the more effective it will be. Rinse the
solution out of the jug and wash with warm, soapy water.

9Electrical information
Always ensure the voltage on the rating label corresponds to the supply voltage.
WARNING! This appliance must be connected to an earthed electrical power
supply. The green/yellow conductor in the supply cord must be connected to the
Earth terminal in the plug. The power supply must have an Earth connection.
Check the power cord and plug regularly for any damage. If the cord or the plug is
damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrician or a service repair centre to
avoid a hazard.
Precautions should be followed for safe cable management and connection to the
power supply
If a new mains plug needs to be fitted follow the fitting instructions supplied with
good quality BS1363A plugs. If in doubt consult a qualified electrician or appliance
repair agent.

UK and EU warranty
Your new Andrew James product comes with a 24 month guarantee and a 2 year
fixed warranty, effective from receipt confirmation. Your receipt or order number is
required as proof of purchase date so it is imperative that you keep it safe. This
guarantee only applies if the item has been used solely for the use intended, and all
instructions have been followed accordingly. Please note this product is only for
domestic use only and is not for commercial use.
Abuse of your product will invalidate the guarantee. Returned goods can only be
accepted if repackaged properly within the original colour product box, and
presented with the original receipt of sale/order number. This does not affect your
statutory rights.
Returned products must be cleaned and returned to us in as close to delivery
condition as possible.
If your product develops a problem within the first 12 months of the fixed warranty,
we will pay all shipping costs to have it returned to us. After 12 months the
customer will be liable for the cost of returning the product to us. We will then pay
to have the repaired/replaced item shipped back to the customer.

• Ne laissez pas l’appareil sans surveillance.
• Le contact avec des pièces en rotation peut présenter un danger.
Ne placez pas les doigts ou les ustensiles dans le pot pendant le

• La base du pot devient chaude. Placez le pot sur la base de

15Avant la première utilisation
• Déballez la boîte avec soin, en conservant tous les matériaux d'emballage jusqu'à
ce que vous soyez satisfait que tout est présent et en ordre de marche.
• Avant d'utiliser l'appareil pour la première fois, veuillez nettoyer la cruche
chauffante et les accessoires, comme décrit dans la section "Nettoyage et
entretien" de ce manuel.
Choisir son fouet
• La buse à lait comprend deux fouets différents. La fonction de ces fouets est de
choisir entre l'option de faire mousser le lait et l'autre pour chauffer le lait.
• Le fouet à mousse de lait (9) comprend un boîtier en plastique avec un anneau
métallique en spirale. Utilisez-le pour créer du lait mousseux pour des boissons
comme le cappuccino et le latte macchiato.

16Comment l'utiliser
• L'appareil peut chauffer le lait jusqu'à 65°. Les durées de chauffage sont
approximatives et dépendent du type de lait et de la température du lait prélevé
à l'entreposage.
• Choisir le bon fouet et l'attacher à l'entraînement du moteur à la base de la
cruche chauffante. N'utilisez pas l'appareil sans fouet en place.
S'assurer que le niveau de lait dans le pot chauffant est supérieur au niveau
minimum et inférieur au niveau maximum de l'accessoire utilisé. La ligne MAX
supérieure sert à chauffer le lait, la ligne MAX inférieure sert à faire mousser le
lait. Ne pas trop remplir.
• Fermez le couvercle et assurez-vous qu'il est complètement scellé.
Remarque : La buse à lait a besoin d'environ 2 à 3 minutes entre chaque
utilisation avant de pouvoir être réutilisée. Laissez le thermostat se réinitialiser
avant de faire mousser ou de réchauffer le lait. Toujours rincer et sécher entre
chaque utilisation pour enlever les dépôts de lait.
Moussage et chauffage ou chauffage seulement
• Une fois le fouet approprié installé, verser la quantité de lait désirée, en veillant à
ce qu'elle soit supérieure à la ligne minimale et inférieure à la ligne maximale
pour l'accessoire désiré.
• Assurez-vous que le couvercle est solidement fixé et commencez par appuyer sur
le bouton ON. Les voyants bleu et rouge s'allument. Lorsque le lait est moussé ou
bien chauffé, la lumière bleue s'éteint automatiquement. Lorsque le voyant rouge
commence à clignoter, cela indique que le lait est prêt à être utilisé.
• Pour arrêter le cycle à tout moment, appuyer sur la touche ON/OFF.
Moussage seulement
• Cette fonction est idéale pour créer du lait mousseux froid pour les boissons telles
que les cafés froids et les lattes glacés.
• Sélectionnez le fouet de moussage et fixez-le à l'entraînement du moteur.
• Verser la quantité de lait désirée en veillant à ce qu'elle soit supérieure à la ligne
minimale et inférieure à la ligne maximale de l'accessoire.
• Assurez-vous que le couvercle est solidement fixé et commencez par appuyer sur
le bouton ON. Le voyant bleu s'allume et le fouet commence à tourner. Lorsque le
lait est moussé, la lumière bleue s'éteint automatiquement. Lorsque le voyant

Conseils et astuces
• Si vous ajoutez le lait moussé à une boisson chaude, préparez la boisson comme
le café ou le chocolat chaud pendant que la buse est utilisée. Servir
immédiatement pour un meilleur goût.
• Lorsque vous utilisez le réglage de chaleur, la buse chauffe le lait à la
température idéale pour votre café ou votre boisson chaude sans le rendre trop
chaud pour le boire tout de suite.
• Évitez d'utiliser autre chose que du lait dans la buse. L'ajout d'aromatisants, de
sirops, de café ou de chocolat chaud peut endommager l'appareil. Si des
ingrédients supplémentaires sont ajoutés, assurez-vous que l'appareil est
nettoyé immédiatement.
• Utilisez du lait entier (teneur en matières grasses > 3,0 %) pour de meilleurs
résultats.
• Utilisez l'emplacement de rangement du couvercle pour ranger l'accessoire non
utilisé. Les accessoires sont petits et peuvent facilement être perdus.
18Nettoyage et entretien
• Débranchez la fiche de l'alimentation électrique. Retirez la cruche de la base
d'alimentation avant de la nettoyer.
• Ne plongez jamais la cruche ou la base dans l'eau et ne la tenez jamais sous l'eau
courante.
• Cet appareil et ses accessoires ne vont pas au lave-vaisselle.
• Attention: Pour éviter d'endommager ou d'égratigner la surface de la cruche
chauffante, n'utilisez pas d'abrasifs ou d'objets métalliques tels que des tampons
abrasifs ou des brosses en nylon dur ou une brosse métallique.
Nettoyage du couvercle
Retirer l'anneau de silicone et laver chaque pièce à l'eau tiède savonneuse. Sécher
et réassembler pour faciliter l'entreposage.
Nettoyage des accessoires
Retirer de la cruche. Laver à l'eau tiède savonneuse. Sécher et conserver dans un
endroit sûr. Nous recommandons d'utiliser l'emplacement de stockage sur le

• Toujours nettoyer immédiatement après chaque utilisation. Rincez et nettoyez

ensuite avec un chiffon doux.
• Pour éliminer les dépôts de lait tenaces dans le chauffe-eau et l'entraînement du
moteur, utiliser une solution à parts égales de bicarbonate de soude et d'eau
pour créer une pâte. Appliquer la pâte sur les zones où le dépôt de lait s'est
accumulé et laisser agir pendant au moins 15 minutes. Plus la solution sera
longue, plus elle sera efficace. Rincer la solution hors de la cruche et la laver à
l'eau tiède savonneuse.

26Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
• Packen Sie die Schachtel mit Sorgfalt aus und bewahren Sie alle
Verpackungsmaterialien auf, bis Sie zufrieden sind. Alles ist vorhanden und

• Bitte reinigen Sie vor der ersten Benutzung des Gerätes den Heizkrug und das

27Wie man es benutzt
• Das Gerät kann die Milch auf bis zu 65° erwärmen. Die Aufheizzeiten sind
ungefähre Angaben und hängen von der Art der Milch und der aus der Lagerung
entnommenen Milchtemperatur ab.
• Wählen Sie den richtigen Schneebesen und befestigen Sie ihn am Motorantrieb in
der Basis des Heizkruges. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht ohne einen Schneebesen.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Milchpegel im Heizkrug über dem Mindestpegel und
unter dem Maximalpegel für den verwendeten Aufsatz liegt. Die obere MAX-Linie
dient zum Erwärmen von Milch, die untere MAX-Linie zum Aufschäumen von
Milch. Nicht überfüllen.
• Schließen Sie den Deckel und stellen Sie sicher, dass er vollständig verschlossen
ist.
• Bitte beachten Sie: Der Milchaufschäumer benötigt zwischen den Anwendungen
ca. 2-3 Minuten, bevor er wieder verwendet werden kann. Lassen Sie den

29Tipps und Tricks
• Wenn Sie die aufgeschäumte Milch zu einem Heißgetränk hinzufügen, bereiten
