This high-performance material is increasingly being introduced in high added value applications, such as satellites,
cryogenic vessels, airplanes, ships, jewels, high current superconductors, competition equipment, dental implants,
prostheses, and others.

Titanium covers the gap between stainless steel and aluminum, as it has corrosion resistance and hardness similar to
stainless steel but with a specific weight similar to aluminum.

Improvements in the manufacturing processes of laminated materials - hastelloy c276 plate, titanium coil - such as
increased use for various industries, has led to a decrease in the price of titanium and a wider range of titanium alloys.

We can divide the range of titanium materials into two categories; Pure titanium products and alloyed titanium
products:

Commercially Pure Titanium (Titanium CP), Grades 1 to 4

CP titanium is mainly used for its corrosion resistance, as it has 99% purity. Resists pitting, cracking and corrosion by
cavitation, erosion, and corrosion in salt water, marine environments and a wide range of acids, bases, and industrial
chemicals:

Round titanium bars and monel 400 tube: medical prostheses, medical instrumentation, chemical plants

Titanium wire: dental implants, medical implants, recreational equipment, titanium fabrics, titanium wire welding

Titanium plate: aerospace, defense, electric power

Ti-Pd Alloy (Grade 7)

This alloy is mechanically and physically equivalent to grade 2 titanium tube, except with the addition of palladium.
The Ti-Pd has excellent weldability and mechanizability; In addition to being the most corrosion-resistant alloy:

Ti-Pd titanium bar: pollution control, metal finishing

Titanium tubes: chemical plants, especially for acid processes

Titanium discs: joints for pipes and other components in chemical plants

Titanium wire: wire for titanium fabric and welding wire

monel 400 plate: marine industries, paper industry, petrochemical

Ti 6Al-4V (Grade 5) and Ti 6Al-4V ELI (Grade 23) alloys

Ti 6Al-4V and Ti 6Al-4V ELI or Aeronautical Grade alloys are the most commonly used, representing more than 50% of
titanium sales worldwide. These alloys include aluminum (6%) and vanadium (4%), which improves the heat treatments
of titanium. These 2 degrees combine excellent mechanical resistance, resistant to corrosion, welding, and
machinability:

Ti 6Al-4V titanium bar: machined titanium parts, seawater pumps, sports equipment such as golf clubs, bicycles

Titanium tube: petrochemical plants, offshore drilling equipment, heat exchangers

monel 400 round bar: components for industrial equipment, joints, joints

Titanium wire: wire for titanium fabric and welding wire

Titanium plates: marine industries, paper industry, petrochemicals, galvanized racks, cryogenic storage vessels,
saltwater conversion units

Ti Alloy (Grade 12)
Grade 12 alloy is also very similar to CP titanium, but 0.8% molybdenum and 0.4% nickel have been added. This alloy
offers a slightly greater mechanical resistance, in addition to being easily weldable and has superior corrosion
resistance. Its technical characteristics are similar to 3xx series stainless sheets of steel, but with a specific weight of
half:

Titanium plate: parts by palletizing, mining tools

monel k500 round bar: for castings, valves, aeronautics, aerospace

Titanium discs: Gaskets for salted conduits, pressure washers

Titanium wire: for use in welding

You can also have other alloys such as Ti Beta-C - very resistant to corrosion and temperature alloy - and grade 5
titanium plate.
