Page 34Terms & Conditions
1. To ensure that all parties accept responsibility for the quotation supplied, we have adopted a policy that no booking will be confirmed
until the client commits to the quotation by means of a 50% non-refundable deposit as reflected on the quotation.
2. In an effort to ensure client satisfaction and availability of any hired / purchased items quoted for, we will source only high quality items
at competitive prices from our network of reputable suppliers with whom we have worked on numerous successful events. This often entails
paying deposits on your behalf, which are not refunded to us in cases of cancellations.
3. All quotations are valid for seven (7) days unless otherwise specified on the quotation. The items specified on the quotation will only be
booked and confirmed once acceptance of the quote has been acknowl- edged and payment of the 50% non-refundable deposit has
been made. We encourage all clients to confirm acceptance as soon as possible to ensure product availability as well as the best pricing.
4. If any quantities change for the event, we require confirmation of these quantities by no later than seven (7) days prior to the
delivery date. Your quote will be amended and sent to you for final payment. NB: No changes will be accepted within seven (7) days
of the planned event unless written confirmation has been received from us.
5. The balance of the quotation along with the breakage fee needs to be paid seven (7) days prior to your event taking place. Failure to
do so will result in us not delivering the hired / purchased items. The 50% non-re- fundable deposit will be forfeited in the event of this
occurring.

6. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all items required for your event are reflected correctly on the quotation. Items that are omitted
from the final quotation will not be delivered and we cannot be held ac- countable for this following the event. We therefore encourage
you to go through your final quotation in detail to ensure complete satisfaction.
7. Our floral division is committed to delivering the freshest and most beautiful floral elements for your event. It is our company policy to work
predominantly with local suppliers in order to promote local business and to assist in keeping costs down. We therefore would like to advise
that images derived from social media platforms (ie: Pinterest Images) may not be available in our local market or may vary in colour, size
and type. We are also at the mercy of nature with our floral elements which can influence the final floral look. For this reason we cannot be
held liable for variances of your floral elements however we will do everything within our power to make sure you are satisfied with the end
result.
8. Our lighting division is committed to delivering the highest possible standard in terms of final look, installation timeline as well as product
performance. As we work with numerous variables that can affect performance, we cannot be held liable for any delay in the delivery of
our service or the performance of our service should there be factors outside of our own control. We will always strive to over deliver on the
requirements as interpreted by our team.
9. We are not responsible to pack out any of the hired items on delivery at the venue unless this has been in- cluded in your quotation
reflected as a setup fee or if pre arrangement has been agreed to in writing by us. Should you have any last minute setup requirements, we
will gladly assist you as best we can. This does however require us to spend additional time at the venue and might result in additional staff
being used on the day. This might therefore result in an additional cost being levied on your quotation.

10. We request that all hired items be returned in the same manor they were delivered in. Please ensure all packaging containers as well as
material is kept and not thrown away so that this can be used for collection purposes.
11. If any damages have occurred while the hired items have been in the client’s possession and work needs to be done on them, we will
utilise the breakage fee to offset these costs. In the event that the breakage fee does not cover these costs, the client remains responsible
to cover these costs.
12. We reserve the right to offset any bank charges over and above normal local EFT bank charges levied by our bank. We will deduct any
surplus charge over and above normal EFT transactional costs and offset it against your breakage fee upon refund.
13. It is noted that payments originating / being made from / to bank accounts outside South Africa carry heavy local transactional costs.
We will deduct any surplus charge of an international payment over and above normal EFT transactional costs and either offset it against
your deposit or alternatively deduct it from your breakage fee upon refund.
14. The breakage fee will be refunded to you within five (5) working days after the hired items have been re- turned to our warehouse in a
favourable condition.
15. We cannot be held liable for any delay in our performance due to circumstances beyond our control, such as but not limited to floods,
fire, strikes, sabotage, lock outs and late delivery by subcontractors.
