Effective Thursday, May 16, 2019 a total of nine (9) new service offerings have been added to CHIS/ISAT, two (2) service offerings
have been modified, seven (7) service offerings have been expired, and print changes have been made.
• The new offerings are listed in the "New Service Offerings" table.
• The modified offerings are listed in the "Modified Offerings" table.
• The expired offerings are listed in the "Expired Offerings" table.
• The print changes are listed in the "Print Changes" table.
Service offerings available to be sold by all sales channels are available on ServiceElite contract types SELBASIC, SELPLUS,
SELPLUSBL, SELFOPNMKT, SELDIST, SELDISTINT, SELDISTRF, SELREM, SELREMINT, SELREMRF, FDOPSPBIL, SELSPBIL,
and IGSSO.
Service offerings available to be sold only by IBM Business Partner channels are available on ServiceElite contract types SELBASIC,
SELDIST, SELDISTINT, SELDISTRF, SELREM, SELREMINT, SELREMRF.
Software Maintenance (SWMA) service offerings are also available on ServiceElite contract type INTLMACONT.
CHIS Function "Type of Work" (TOW) is used to prevent similar offerings from billing for overlapping periods. The TOW group is listed
in the comments column for the offerings using this function.

Offering Iteration 19.2 Enhanced Parts Inventory for Business Partner (BP) Also know as “Parts Locker”. • One (1) new offering is available in the BP channel for Enhanced Parts Inventory. The offering is the same as the previous version, except term discount is enabled in the new offering. • Enhanced Parts Inventory is a special bid plug-a-price offering that allows a BP to sell service for storage of spare machine parts for faster retrieval. • Machines must be covered under an IBM® hardware warranty, maintenance, or support extension services agreement to be eligible for this Service. • IBM will establish and maintain an inventory of spare Machine parts (Parts) to be used in Services performed on Client’s eligible machines specified in the Schedule. IBM will identify the Parts location as Client’s Specified Location or an IBM location. The parts remain IBM property until IBM installs them in the client's eligible machines. • This offering requires special handling and must follow the documented Enhanced Parts Inventory process in order to gain IBM special bid approvals and to have the appropriate pricing applied. The offering is priced via an IBM special bid or the pricing is invalid. • The terms and conditions are contracted in a SOW available in ISAT. 5

IBM Hardware Maintenance (HW MA) Service for Multi-Vendor Solutions (MVS)
• One (1) new IBM HW MA Service for MVS - BP one-time charge (OTC) and one (1) new MVS designated point of
contact (DPOC) offerings are available.
• When IBM HW MA Service for MVS is contracted, IBM provides maintenance support and repair coordination of
maintenance activities for machines in a multi-vendor environment. The new OTC offerings are similar to the
existing IBM HW MA Service for MVS annuity offerings.
• The OTC offerings are plug-a-price and priced via an IBM special bid or the pricing is invalid. Please engage your
business partner special bid process via COL in order to gain IBM special bid approvals and to have the
appropriate pricing applied. The Optional Software MA Services and IBM MA Services can be selected and priced
together.
• The service start and stop dates and the one-time charge plug-a-price must be manually entered by the user.
• The MVS DPOC is a co-requisite. The client's contact information must be provided in the DPOC..
• The terms and conditions are contracted in a SOW available in ISAT.

IBM Proactive Support for Power Systems™
• Three (3) new Proactive Support service offerings are available in all sales channels. This will allow ISAT to acknowledge the Initial SW PIDS
associated with AAS/eConfig.
• The IBM Proactive Support for Power Systems™ offerings have been enhanced to support the Advanced Administrative System (AAS) product
identifiers (PIDs) that have been enabled in the IBM Power configuration tools for IBM AIX®, IBM i, Linux® (distributor and OSS), and SAP HANA.
The implementation simplifies and improves the ease of sale of Proactive Support on new Power servers. Proactive Support for Power Systems
provides support across IBM hardware and software, as well as the most strategic non-IBM products, such as Linux.
• The client's DPOC and the associated Proactive Options offerings are co-requisites.
• The terms and conditions are contracted in a SOW available in ISAT.
• Refer to Announcement Letter 218-426 released September 11, 2018 and Announcement Letter 618-007 released May 15, 2018.

Subscription for Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® (RHEL) Products
SUB RHEL ANSIBLE
• One (1) new OTC subscription service offering to support Red Hat Ansible products is available in all sales channels.
• The Linux offering will allow IBM to sell the new RHEL Linux subscription Stock Keeping Units (SKUs). IBM will assist the client in the ordering and
receipt of eligible Linux subscription products.
• The client will identify a subscription coordinator who will be the focal point for all their Linux supplier licensed subscription product orders and
deliveries. The Linux supplier licensed software is directly distributed and licensed to the client by the Linux supplier under the terms and
conditions of the supplier's end user license agreement (EULA).
• SL Linux Support for xip and the client's DPOC are corequisites. The Vendor will deposit the subscription activation codes into the client's online
Red Hat account for the DPOC.
• For existing Red Hat clients, the client's Red Hat Network Login ID is a required. The client must provide their Red Hat Network Login ID for the
client contact that will need access to the new subscription. The user must enter the Red Hat Network Login ID in the designated ISAT offering:
"SUB LINUX REG ID/PART NUM".
• The price is calculated based on the SKU price times the quantity times the number of months.
• The subscription durations are available for 6 - 60 months.
• The service stop date must be manually entered by the user to align with the number months of service.
• The terms and conditions are contracted in a SOW available in ISAT.

Software Maintenance (SWMA)
• SWMA service offerings are using CHIS function that allows quantities and dates from product identifier (PID) data
located in the Customer Support Data Warehouse (CSDW) to be used in calculating prices.
• The SWMA service offerings include some form of the terms TOTAL, COVERED, and CHARGEABLE.
• TOTAL is the base count derived from the AAS SWMA registration PIDs in CSDW.
• COVERED is a purchased AAS SWMA that is active or has already expired.
• CHARGEABLE = TOTAL - COVERED
• Users are allowed to add “what-if/manual” SWMA PID(s) to a proposal to simulate a planned AAS order. However, it
is the responsibility of each CHIS/ISAT user to ensure that the “what-if/manual” SWMA PID(s) have been removed
prior to sending the proposal to Sales Transaction Support (STS) for registration. Manually inserted SWMA PIDs do
not generate entitlement nor billing.

SWMA for IBM Engineering and Scientific Subroutine Library (ESSL) for Linux on Power Systems (SW License
PID 5765-L61) - LPP
• Two (2) new service offerings, SWMA for ESSL of Linux and the associated ALF are available in all sales channels.
• The ESSL for Linux offerings have been enhanced to support new features that have been enabled in the
configuration tool. ESSL offers a collection of subroutines providing a wide range of mathematical functions for many
different scientific and engineering applications. Its primary characteristics are performance, functional capability, and
usability.
• Refer to Announcement Letter 218-103 released August 28, 2018.

Modified – Two (2) Offerings
• One (1) IBM HW MA SERVICE FOR MVS-BP service offerings have been modified to support the MVS DPOC and
the proposal text was changed.
• One (1) RHEL subscription offering was modified to add new SKUs to allow IBM to sell new RHEL subscriptions.

Expired – Seven (7) Offerings
• One (1) Enhanced Parts Inventory offering in the BP channel was expired on May 15, 2019 and replaced by the
version 002 offering. The new offering enables term discount.
• Three (3) Proactive for Power offerings were expired on May 15, 2019 and replaced by the version 002 offerings.
The new offerings adds support for AAS PIDs.
• One (1) Linux Red Hat offering, SUB RHEL JBOSS, was expired on May 15, 2019. There is no replacement.
• Two (2) SWMA offerings, ESSL Linux and the associated ALF, were expired on May 15, 2019 and replaced with the
version 004 for SWMA and version 002 on the ALF offering. The new offerings adds support for AAS features.
• The seven expired offerings should not be proposed after the expiration date.

Day of Announce Changes
• Four Twenty (20) SWMA and Premium Services offerings have been modified to expire the 2810-A14 and 2812-A14 machines
which reached the end of their normal life cycle on December 31, 2018. The machines can no longer be proposed or contracted.
• Two (2) SWMA and ALF offerings were modified to reflect a price decrease effective March 4, 2019 and a name change to align
with the rebranding of IBM PowerAI Enterprise (5765-AIE) to IBM Watson Machine Learning (ML) Accelerator to support IBM's
integration strategy and two (2) SWMA PowerAI Vision and ALF offerings have been modified to reflect a price decrease effective
March 4, 2019.
• Thirty (30) SWMA and ALF service offerings have been updated to reflect price increases effective May 1, 2019 for commercial
proposals and contracts.
• Four (4) SWMA offerings were expired to align with the software withdrawal and support discontinuance date, one (1) for SWMA
IBM PowerKVM (5765-KVM) and three (3) SWMA Workload Partition and ALF offerings were expired to align with the software
withdrawal and support discontinuance date for AIX®5.3 Workload Partitions for AIX 7 (5765-WP7) which reached its end of life
cycle on April 30, 2019.
• Four (4) Custom Technical Support (CTS) offerings were modified to expire the PowerKVM and Workload Partition LPPs to
align with the software withdrawal and support discontinuance date.
• Five (5) Special bid SWMA ALF for the operating system offerings were expired on April 30,2019. The standard ALF offerings
must be used when there is a lapse in service. Request a special bid as needed, business as usual.

cover 975 nodes, User must select SKU at Qty 10 to cover 1000
MGD NODE.
