Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) – Explained
If you want to make fixed regular payments and guarantee the future value of your car, then Personal
Contract Purchase could be the right option for you.
•How it works
• Simply choose the car you wish to purchase, agree your annual mileage and decide your agreement term of
between 20 and 48 months
• Based on your chosen term and mileage, FCA Automotive Services will determine the Guaranteed Minimum
Future Value (GMFV) of your car at the end of your agreement. The GMFV is deferred to the end of the
agreement and is the optional final payment.
• The GMFV and any deposit are deducted from the price of your car. You make regular payments based on
the remaining balance plus the agreement interest.
• At the end of the agreement, just choose from one of the following options:
i.Renew. Choose a new car from your Retailer and use any excess value over the GMFV towards your
deposit. You can trade in your old car or sell it privately.
ii.Retain. To keep your car, you only need pay the GMFV.
iii.Return. Simply return your car to FCA Automotive Services in good condition and within the agreed
mileage
•Benefits
• Fixed monthly payments for easy budgeting
• Your monthly payments are reduced because the GMFV is deferred to the end of the agreement
• The Guaranteed Minimum Future Value protects you against any potential fall in used car values
• With shorter terms you can be driving a new car more often, meaning your servicing and maintenance costs

PCH is effectively a long-term car rental. Many people think it’s only available to businesses, but it’s not. With
a lease agreement you effectively agree to hire a vehicle for a set period of time based on a pre-agreed annual
mileage.
How it works
• Simply choose the car you wish to lease, agree your annual mileage and decide your contract term of
between 24 and 60 months
• Based on your chosen term and mileage, Leasys will provide the monthly rental cost
• At the end of the agreement simply return your car* to Leasys in good condition and within the agreed
mileage

• Fixed monthly rentals helping you to budget
• Low initial rental
• Cost effective - the monthly rental for a PCH agreement will generally be lower than those of a personal
loan or PCP

No monthly payments, just a single, up-front payment followed by a choice of three final options at the end of
your agreement term
•How it works
• Simply choose the car you wish to purchase, agree your annual mileage and decide your agreement term of

• Based on your chosen term and mileage, FCA Automotive Services will determine the Guaranteed Minimum
