Trackabout Off Road Campers are not only an industry leader in design, innovation, quality and
service but also one of the longest standing Australian manufactures in off-road camper trailers. What
once started in the mid 1990's as a small business based in Brisbane's south has grown into a
manufacturer that provides off road campers nationwide and beyond.
At Trackabout, every model and every option is the result of obsessive attention to detail and
countless hours of “real world” RnD, dating back to our large rental fleet of campers in the early 2000s.
Every element is thought of and no detail is too small for our attention. This means our product and its
modular options work seamlessly across the range from our Touring Series to our Base Camp models.
A key point of focus for the design at Trackabout Campers is the evolution of our products. A lot of
emphasis is put on our customer’s off road needs which have allowed us to develop our product over
many years. The basic principle of our product hasn't changed over the decades, solid, easy to use
Australian made campers that will follow you up and down any journey you embark on. With a
company founded and staffed by campers, evolution comes naturally.
With state of the art technology behind us, advancements through Computer aided design, laser
cutting and refined assembly procedures have allowed us to maximise features, storage & usability
therefore adding value for our customers. All of our components are finished to the highest standards,
allowing aesthetics and practicality to bond effortlessly.

This is the ultimate touring camper for couples. The most compact camper trailer in our range, the
Explorer is built to go anywhere. Featuring a large walk up area, plenty of storage and a layout that

evolved through constant improvements in both options and finish. Our new range features a
completely free standing tent with all poles permanently attached in the main structure, even
standing on its own without guy ropes. Simply open the camper up, step inside and extend the
internal pole system in the tent and you're done.
This tent is so versatile it can be set up in a matter of minutes for a comfortable one night getaway,
a weekend with the family or extended stays at your favourite camp.

The camper trailer has been re-imagined. We don't believe a quick set up camper trailer should be based on
compromise. With a market that is flooded with “touring style” camper trailers, we boldly redesigned how the
conventional camper is used. Why should you sleep on an undersized foam mattress & sacrifice the comforts,
or have to leave the bikes, boats and outboards behind just to save time when you set up? With the Touring
Series, you can have all this.
With strict criteria from both our sales representatives and customers seeking maximum comfort and storage
with a minimum effort set up, our design team got to work. Our patented tent and awning design paired
perfectly with our comfortable features and limitless storage on our Explorer & Extenda range.
The Touring Series tent can be set up for a quick stay after a long day on the tracks, for the whole family or
anywhere in between due to its modular design in under 3 minutes. The quick setup is owing to the patented
pole system for the tent and awning, this design eliminates the need to attach any further poles to support the
canvas. It's as simple as extending the poles into the correct position and using the 2 quick clip guy ropes to
anchor it down. Instead of following the trend of a detached kids room, we fitted the tent with separate walls
and floor that attach to the main tent frame allowing you to set up as little or as much as you want adding
privacy or protection from weather.specs

In modern homes the kitchen is one of the most used rooms in the house, why should your camper be any
different. Basing our designs on maximising bench space and storage as well as a layout that works, we have
created our new range of CAD engineered aluminium kitchens. The new range features an aluminium
monocoque construction reducing internal weight by up to 25% whilst retaining strength and usability.
The impressive powder coated kitchen is fitted with the latest in Dometic stainless appliances, an Australian made
60litre fridge freezer (Optional upgrade RF60 pictured, TMDZ60 is standard) and electric water pumps. Quick
connect plumbed gas and water lines provide maximum convenience when camping. The dedicated drawers for
cutlery, pots & pans, plates, bowls, glasses and mugs are all fitted with Italian soft close runners. The additional easy
to access pantry with extra drawers provides unmatched storage and bench space.
The optional return bench increases the footprint of the kitchen in a matter of seconds, the whole unit supported
by adjustable rust free aluminium legs.Take your bikes camping & beyond
The ISI bike rack allows for easy storage of 2 or 4 bikes
on your Trackabout without having to load & unload
bikes every time you need to access the trailer.
The clever design also features an optional vehicle
hitch that allows you to fit the rack to the car and
explore the tracks nearby camp or a nice Sunday ride
at home.
