The 2021 Prize Car!

Over 20 years ago, the BOYD Autobody & Glass Father's Day Charity Car Show began. That inaugural year, from Springfield to Dickson,
Dayton Street was loaded with hot rods, bikes and road-rumbling machines. Every vehicle was a labour of love for the owners and they
were as excited to show them off as local enthusiasts were to see them. Each year Boyd brought the Car Show back to the community
and each year it grew. Soon we were so big we took over City Park and, every year, the show attracts ten of thousands of visitors to
walk through the wide variety of vehicles on display.
The BOYD Autobody & Glass Father's Day Charity Car Show is a gift to the community. In the past, we have adapted to ensure that we
can keep delivering this gift to everyone from the die-hard motorheads to the families looking for an afternoon of fun to the owners
excited to display their passion projects.
On June 20th, we are adapting again to safely bring the joy of the car show to everyone while supporting a worthy cause.
Where the Rubber Meets the Road
The hum of a perfectly tuned engine, the shine of a freshly buffed paint job, the smell of rubber on the road: These sights and sounds
and smells are integral to the experience of a car show and if the people can't come to it, we are taking it to the people! Welcome to the
very first Boyd Father's Day Charity Car Cruise!
Over 200 cool cars, hot rods, tuners, supercar exotics and more will cruise the city of Kelowna and through a neighbourhood near you.
Keep an eye out for when we publish the cruise route map so that you can plan a location for your bubble to watch from – bring your
chairs, your family and a picnic to catch the cars and feel the roar while staying safe or watch the live stream of the cruise from home.
A High-Octane Experience
In the weeks leading up to the Car Cruise you can play a part, like never before, and help redline the very first Virtual Car Show in
Kelowna. We have developed an online showcase for car owners to display their pride and joy, where you can view over 200 cars with
pictures, videos, websites and a host of other tools to help you explore every car. And, for the very first time, YOU are going to be able to
vote the car you want for “Best in Category” in each of 11 categories. If that's not enough, one lucky person will win this year's People's
Choice Award, based on your votes!
Boyd Gives Back
We are proud to once again partner with the Child Advocacy Centre as our charity of choice. Through the support of our sponsors,
volunteers and associates over the last two years, Boyd has contributed over $85,000 to the Child Advocacy Centre. Our partnership
with the CAC continues and your support helps change the lives of vulnerable children in our own community.
The CAC is a place of help, hope and healing for child survivors of abuse and neglect.
