Instant ticket coupon set for mid-May
Get ready for the Ohio Lottery’s latest scratch-off coupon offer. From May 13-29, customers who provide you
with the current Ohio Lottery instant ticket coupon receive a free, $2 scratch-off with the purchase of a $5
scratch-off game.
Take these steps for coupon processing on the new Photon terminal:
• Go to “Ticket Functions.”
• Press the “Inquiry” button.
• Scan the coupon barcode, using
the camera bed or hand-held
scanner.
• Key in the last five digits of the
validation number. Press “OK.”
• Press “pay” on the inquiry screen. This
transfers the coupon to the shopping
cart, where you can finalize the
redemption.
• Press “Redeem all Cash” or “Buy all
Cash,” depending on the shopping cart
balance.
Credit for coupon validation will show up as
a low-tier cash on both the sales summary
report and weekly invoice.
The coupon expires

2. Scan the Lottery barcode on the back of the Cash Explosion
ticket and press “Add Instant Ticket.” This will put the Cash
Explosion ticket in the shopping cart.
3. Touch the “Please scan/enter first barcode” window so it’s
highlighted in green. Now, you can scan the first and third
Decade of Dollars tickets. You’ll see the bar codes added on
the screen.
4. Because the Decade of Dollars instant tickets are in ticket
number order, the ticket series will be automatically forwarded to the shopping cart.
5. Then, press the “Please scan/enter first barcode” window before scanning the Cashword ticket
to capture it on the screen. Touch “Add Instant Ticket” and exit the screen. You’ll see the fully
loaded shopping cart and the transaction total.
6. Review the shopping cart with your customer and press “Buy Credit/Debit.”
Helpful Hint: To make the process go smoothly, every
time you want to add a ticket from a new book, touch
the “Please scan/enter first barcode” window before
scanning the ticket and pressing the “Add Instant Ticket”
button to send the ticket to the shopping cart.

Sci Games will replace Intralot, which currently serves as the instant ticket warehouse and distribution vendor. Introduction to your new 6FLHQWLÞF*DPHUHSUHVHQWDWLYH Expect a call between June 17-28 from a Sci Games representative to confirm your contact and shipping information. Your representative will provide you with key dates, along with ordering and delivery details. Instant ticket inventory/ordering calls begin July 1. The goal is to make the transition as smooth as possible. Most processes will remain the same, including: • Your current call day and time • The 1-800-686-4208 line for calling in any instant ticket orders • Order hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday • Next day delivery and the delivery confirmation process • The return ticket process • The receipt of new game orders on the first day of sales • Color coded envelopes to distinguish between new game deliveries and daily orders What’s new? Sci Games uses predictive ordering, designed to help you maintain the right level of inventory based on your store’s sales. The vendor’s goal is the minimize out of stock and space-consuming overstocks to help increase your sales and commissions.
