  Resumen        The present invention relates to a silver ink which comprises a dispersion medium and, dispersed therein, silver
                 particles and a protective agent comprising one or more amine compounds. The dispersion medium of this silver ink
                 comprises, as a main solvent, a solvent having a vapor pressure at 20°C of 40 mmHg or less and a vapor pressure at
                 70°C of 0.09 mmHg or greater. The main solvent is contained in an amount of 80 mass% or larger with respect to the
                 whole dispersion medium. The amine compounds serving as the protective agent have a mass-average molecular
                 weight of 115 or less and the total amount of the amine compounds included in the protective agent is 1-14 parts by
                 weight per 100 parts by weight of the silver particles. The silver ink of the present invention is characterized by having
                 a water content of 500-50,000 ppm. The silver ink according to the present invention can form practical metallic films
                 even through burning at temperatures as low as 70°C or below.

  Resumen        A rotor shaft for a high speed motor that has a coating that is

                 certain embodiments, the alloy material of the coating may be
                 secured to at least a portion of a rotor body blank in a solution
                 treated condition via a low temperature welding procedure.
                 Additionally, the coating may be hardened, such as for
                 example, through the use of an age hardening process. The
                 coating and the rotor body blank may be machined together to
                 form the rotor shaft. According to certain embodiments, such
                 machining may configure the rotor shaft for use with a
                 turbo-compressor that is configured for air compression.

  Resumen        Metal nanowires, such as silver nanowires coated on a
                 substrate were fused together to form fused metal nanowire
                 networks that have greatly improved conductivity while
                 maintaining good transparency. Materials formed from the
                 fused metal nanowire networks described herein can have a
                 transparency to visible light of at least about 85% and a sheet
                 resistance of no more than about 100 Ohms/square or a
                 transparency to visible light of at least about 90% and a sheet
                 resistance of no more than about 250 Ohms/square. In addition
                 to maintaining good transparency, the materials formed from
                 the sintered metal nanowire networks can have a haze of no
                 more than 0.5. The method of forming such a fused metal
                 nanowire networks are disclosed that involves exposure of
                 metal nanowires to various fusing agents on a short timescale.
                 The resulting sintered network can have a core-shell structure
                 in which metal halide forms the shell. Additionally, effective
                 methods are described for forming patterned structure with
                 areas of sintered metal nanowire network with high conductivity
                 and areas of un-sintered metal nanowires with low conductivity.
                 The corresponding patterned films are also described. When
                 formed into a film, materials comprising the metal nanowire
                 network demonstrate low sheet resistance while maintaining
                 desirably high levels of optical transparency with low haze,
                 making them suitable for transparent electrode, touch sensors,
                 and other electronic/optical device formation.
