RS Christianity Beliefs and Practices Paper 1…Key knowledge
Use your check list to ensure you know key word definitions and key knowledge.
1. Look back through both Christianity interactive booklets and ensure you
learn the key word definitions on each page.
2. Using the information in your booklets complete the revision core task
sheets for Christian beliefs and practices.
3. Revision guides p12-23 and p28-41. Create one mind map summarising
Christian Beliefs and one mind map summarising Christian practices.

Include diagrams for each feature you have done
• Complete the revision template on the River Tees case study. This can be

‘Describe how one river that you have studied changes along its course. Explain

Health and Recap and use ‘Check and cover’ method to learn the definition of Health and
Social Care Wellbeing – remember all your notes are in the booklet which is available in the
(re-sit) group email if you have lost your paper pack.
Create a resource on the physical factors that can affect Health and Wellbeing
(Diet, lifestyle, hygiene, ill health, genetic inheritance and substance use– this could
be a poster, set of cue cards or a mind map or you could make a PowerPoint. The
last paper was on ASTHMA so it is less likely that this will tested again although you
still need to know about it.

• How longshore drift works
• The formation of headlands and bays; stacks; beaches; spits.

Examine how human activity has had an impact on a coastline that you have
studied (12 marks).
3. ‘People of the UK.’
• Read through ‘The UK’s trading partners (imports and exports), ‘The UK – A

government policy, development and infrastructure mean; why there is a
north-south divide in the UK and how do we know? What are the causes of

After the exam you need to prepare for your ‘Skills’ exam which
is next week so go over:
• Learn you field work on Castleton and Burbage Brook by completing cue
cards
• Learn all of the types of graphs and know advantages and disadvantages of
each one complete the booklet that you have been given
• Make sure that you can use maps and 4 and 6 figure grid references
• Know interquartile range, mean, median and mode.

Computer There is a subroutine, HEX(), that takes a denary number between 10 and 15 and
Science returns the corresponding hexadecimal number. E.g. HEX(10) would return ”A”,
HEX(15) would return “F”. Write an algorithm, using the subroutine HEX(), to
convert any whole decimal number between 0 and 255 into a 2 digit hexadecimal
