Owairoa Primary School Papatoetoe North School
Park Supplies Playgrounds has been working with
Papatoetoe North School since 2011 when we renewed
the then very tired Junior playground.
In 2017 were asked again to submit a design proposal
for the new Senior playground. It was an entirely new
play area planned with a new classroom build with the
MoE in 2018. We met with the school to discuss some
preliminary playground concepts.
The overwhelming feedback was:

MORE CHALLENGE, MORE HEIGHT!
The final playground was built with the most challenging
senior upper body climbing activities and the highest
platforms possible to meet the NZS5828:2015
playground standard. The Mega Net structure is at
a towering 2.7 meters high. We installed Play Mattas
Rubber matting tile surface complete with a very thick
impact attenuating shockpad system.
