SCOPE OF WORK
PART 1 GENERAL
1.01 SUMMARY
A. Contractor is responsible for all Contract Documents (drawings, specifications, addenda,
etc.). Contractor shall review all documents to be sure that complete scope is reviewed
and acknowledged.
B. Contractor is required to attend weekly Safety Stand-down Meetings and weekly
Contractor Progress Meetings.
C. Safety Personnel – Refer to Contractor Safety Requirements
D. Section 01 50 00, Part 3.3-E doesn’t apply to this scope of work. Employee parking is not
provided. Parking for contractor employees and supervisors is not allowed at the Event
Level Loading Dock nor at building perimeter at any time. Vehicle access to the Event
Level Loading Dock and building perimeter is provided for deliveries, loading and
unloading. Unauthorized vehicles will be removed at vehicle owner’s expense.
E. All onsite contractor employees must attend Project Safety Orientation prior to first day of
work. Orientation will be held daily. Project may be covered by an Owners Controlled
Insurance Program (OCIP), which will require all contractor employees to provide
information to the OCIP Administrator.
F. Security and access to the site will be tightly controlled. All contractor employees will be
issued an identification/access badge that will be used to access and to leave the site.
G. Contractor is responsible to complete all quality control and safety requirements as
indicated in the Contract Documents.
H. Deliveries must be scheduled with the Construction Manager 48 hours in advance of arrival
onsite. Access to the Event Level Loading Dock will be tightly controlled. Unscheduled
deliveries will be turned away.
I. No laydown or storage is provided inside the construction perimeter or adjacent properties.
Deliveries must be Just-In-Time to meet the Project Schedule. Material delivered to meet
daily installation requirements of the Project Schedule will be placed in a location approved
by Construction Manager.
J. Contractor shall begin field coordination, shop drawings and submittals for this Scope of
Work immediately upon Execution of Contract.
K. Contractor is responsible for detailed coordination and communication with other
Contractors for the Scope of Work for this Bid Package and all other Bid Packages per all
Contract Documents.

L. Contractor is responsible to furnish, install, maintain, remove and dispose of protection for
the finishes installed for this Scope of Work. Protection shall keep the finishes in like new
condition until Substantial Completion. Protection shall be suitable to protect finishes from
wear & tear and minor damage that can result from normal construction activities.
Contractor is responsible for repairs where finish protection is not maintained nor properly
installed.
M. Contractor understands and agrees that this is a fast-track oriented project with all
ramifications and considerations of such a project. Contractor also agrees that the total
scope of work is understood and that all considerations have been made for the intent of
the total work involved. Therefore, all costs have been accounted for in this Bid Package
alleviating requests for additional compensation.
N. Contractor is responsible for daily cleanup to trash containers provided by others and
distributed throughout work area. Emptying trash containers in dumpsters and returning to
work area will be by others. Trash dumpsters as shown in Logistics Plan will be provided
by others.
1.02 BID PACKAGE SCOPE OF WORK

2. Contractor shall furnish and install all work in complete accordance with the
Contract Documents including, but not limited to the following:
a. Scope Specific Items Here
b. Main Course – Removal, restore and re-install expanded mesh ceiling
panels. Reference Key note #51 on P2-AD4- 3A, 3B, 3C and 3D. Coordinate
MEP demo prior to removal. Once removed transport offsite immediately for
restoration and store off site until reinstallation is scheduled. Final finish
color to be submitted for approval. New or existing expanded metal supports
to be painted to match. Verify / As built current elevation and location prior
to removal.
c. Provide and Install Wedge barrier located at the top of the dock ramp.
Provide all demolition, excavation, installation and dock restoration.
Coordinate wedge barrier controls and utilities requirements, including drain
piping trench and excavation, with other prime contractors. Since this
entrance ramp is the only egress point for work in the Bowl this contractor is
responsible to maintain egress down this ramp while the Wedge is being
installed. The use of steel plates etc. is required.
d. Furnish, install, maintain and remove 45 each Emergency Action Plan (EAP)
stations. EAP station to include: 20# ABC fire extinguisher with stand, Air
Horn and Signage. Assume fifteen (15) locations on each floor at Event
Level, Lower Suite Level & Main Concourse Level. All fire extinguishers shall
have a valid inspection certificate at all times.

e. Furnish and install floor protection for the Pavilion existing Terrazzo Floor
during the demolition and reconstruction periods. Use of megadeck with 2”
of extruded polystyrene under the megadeck. This floor cannot be shored.
f. Provide cleaning for entire Middle Bowl Seating area concrete surfaces at
treads & risers following seat removal by others. Cleaning method must be
coordinated with CM because area is not water-tight.
g. Provide Final Cleaning for all Phase 2 construction areas. This contractor is
additionally responsible to clean all Phase 1 areas, lower bowl, and Phase 3
areas upper bowl.
h. Furnish, install, maintain and remove shrink wrap protection for center
scoreboards and perimeter ribbon boards.
i. Furnish, install, maintain and remove temporary protection over all Arena
Bowl areas above the Lower Seating Bowl to include all seating, exposed
portions of Club Level Suites and vomitory openings from Main Concourse
Level through the Upper Concourse Level.
j. Furnish, install, maintain and remove all temporary dust barriers as needed &
provided for this scope of work.
k. Provide all necessary dust barriers and required for all work provided by this
Bid Package. Contain and manage all dust and silica produced by this Bid
Package.
l. Provide street sweeping as needed for Phase 2 construction. This includes
all adjacent streets, North alley and access ramp to Event Level Garage.
m. Division 7
1. Provide all Self-Adhering Sheet Waterproofing per Section 07 13 26.
2. Provide all Sheet Metal Flashing and Trim per Section 07 62 00.
3. Provide all Applied Fireproofing & Intumescent Fireproofing
4. Provide all Joint Firestopping per Section 07 84 43.
5. All top of fire-rated CMU wall details (Reference Detail A40B-35).
6. Provide all smoke resistant sealants at Event Level as indicated on
Contract Documents.
7. Provide all Fire-Resistive Joint Systems per Section 07 84 46.
8. Provide all Joint Sealants per Section 07 92 00 as indicated on
Contract Drawings, including, but not limited to:
9. All new joints in Lower Seating Bowl to match existing conditions.
10. All new concrete joints- concrete to concrete and concrete to dissimilar
materials.
11. All interior and exterior sealants for the perimeter of all hollow metal
door frames and window frames at both sides.
12. All interior and exterior sealants for the perimeter of all aluminum door
frames and window frames at both sides.
13. All millwork countertops.
14. All plumbing fixtures.
15. All top of CMU wall details
16. All overhead coiling doors, overhead coiling shutters & overhead
coiling grilles at both sides of jambs & head.

1. Furnish and install all interior Hollow Metal Doors and Frames per
Section 08 11 13. Coordinate frames in masonry to be installed by
this Bid Package 2105 General Trades.
2. Furnish and install all Flush Wood Doors per Section 08 14 16.
3. Furnish all Access Doors & Frames per Section 08 31 13 as indicated
on Contract Drawings for all metal stud wall and ceiling locations to
Bid Package 1100 Contractor for installation in their scope of work.
4. Furnish all Access Doors & Frames per Section 08 31 13 as indicated
on Contract Documents for all CMU wall locations to Masonry
Contractor for installation in this scope of work for Bid Package 1105
General Trades.
5. Furnish and install all Door Hardware per Section 08 71 00.
6. Coordinate power supply and terminations for electric door hardware
with Bid Package 2170 Electrical Contractor. Furnish and install all low
voltage cable, hardware and controller / transformers as indicated on
the Contract Documents. This includes voltage verification and
compatibility with door hardware.
7. Furnish and install plastic temporary core fillers for all new doors to
allow room access without a key.
8. Furnish and install (20) each construction keyed cores to provide
temporary security and isolation of finished areas. Furnish (10) keys
to Construction Manager.
9. Furnish and install final key cores for all interior and exterior doors.
Coordinate keying schedule with the Construction Manager, Architect
and Owner.
10. Contractor is responsible to coordinate door, frame and hardware
deliveries and storage with the Construction Manager. All doors,
frames and hardware shall be stored and protected in accordance
with manufacturer’s instructions to prevent damage, warping, rusting,
etc.
11. Prepare all hollow metal frames and doors including prep for
hardware. All doors and frames are to be clean and in like new
condition prior to turnover to Bid Package 2100 Painting Contractor.
This includes, if necessary, removal of dents, dings, divots, blemishes,
etc. fill and sanding, etc.
12. Provide all Overhead Counter Doors, Overhead Coiling Doors &
Overhead Coiling Grilles per Sections 08 33 13, 08 33 23 & 08 33 26
respectively. Furnish and install all Fixed Louvers per Section 08 91 19.
13. Provide all Aluminum-Framed Entrances & Storefronts per Section 08
41 13.

14. Provide all Mirrors per Section 08 83 00.
15. Store any excess material on-site as directed by CM.

1. Provide all work for all Division 10 Sections.
2. Furnish and install all folding panel partition systems completely.
Structural steel will be furnished and installed by this Bid Package.
Coordinate locations and elevations of support steel.
3. Remove, salvage and reinstall existing galvanized steel outside corner
guards as indicated on the Construction Documents.
4. Furnish and install new galvanized steel outside corner guards as
indicated on the Construction Documents.
