OFFICIAL RULES PolimiRun Winter 2021 – COMPETITIVE
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Polisportiva Politecnico di Milano SSD organizes the 3° edition of the PolimiRun Winter competitive
race, a trail run event on mixed route, road and dirt, approved by CR Lombardia of Associazione Sportive
e Sociali Italiane (ASI) and Settore Tecnico Nazionale di atletica leggera of ASI, on a 10 Km route.
MEETING POINT: Sunday 7 November 2021 from 8:15 am at the starting Village, Lecco campus, Via G.
Previati 1/c, Lecco
START: Sunday 7 November 2021 at 10:00 am from via Ghislanzoni, Lecco Campus
FINISH LINE: Sunday 7 November 2021 from 11:40 am at arrival Village, Lecco campus, Via G. Previati 1/c
AWARD CEREMONY: starting from 12:00 am at PolimiRun arrival Village, Lecco campus
The 10K foot race route will be on a single route, with the start from Politecnico di Milano - Lecco
Campus and finish line at Politecnico di Milano – Lecco Campus, via Ghislanzoni.
However, the organizing committee reserves the right to modify the route in accordance with any
requests from the competent authorities or for particular weather conditions after informing the
CRL/Fidal.
TIME LIMIT: 1 h and 40 minutes
Climb (D+): 275 mt
Maximum slope 30%
PARTICIPATION RULES
1. All Italian or foreign athlete/s registered in Italian companies affiliated to FIDAL for the year 2021 in
the male and female categories can be admitted - Promesse, Seniores, Master SF/SM 35-40-45-50-
55- 60-65-70-75 and over. All participants will be covered by accident insurance provided by ASI.
2. Italian citizens and foreigners residing in Italy in possession of the "RUNCARD" and “Mountain & Trail
Runcard”, issued by Fidal, can also participate.
3. Italian and foreign athlete/s, members of Companies, Light Athletics discipline, affiliated to E.P.S. that
have signed the agreement with Fidal in compliance with its rules. The Company card must show
ATLETICA LEGGERA (LIGHT ATHLETICS), with the expiration of the card - identity document.
4. Participation is subject to the presentation of a valid medical certificate of competitive fitness specific
for athletics and valid in Italy, which must be shown to the organizers in original and kept, in copy, in
the records of the organizing company. Any athletes registered with FIDAL for the current year arePolisportiva Politecnico di Milano

excluded from this obligation.
Please note:
The RUNCARD is renewable. The RUNCARD shows its expiration. If on the day of the event, during the
check of the card, this one will be found expired, the athlete CANNOT take part to the race, unless s/he
shows the receipt of the renewal made online.
However, their participation is subject to submission of a medical certificate for competitive sports, for
light athletics and valid in Italy. They can also show a medical certificate issued in their own country, but
in compliance with the diagnostic tests required by Italian law in order to carry out competitive sports
activities, that must be shown in original, and a copy must be left to the Organizers.
In accordance with the provisions of the law in force (Ministerial Decree 18/02/1982) those who practice
competitive sports must check, periodically and in advance, their specific suitability for sport. The Italian
legislation requires that the interested parties must undergo the following health checks:
- Medical check-up
- Complete urine examination
- Electrocardiogram at rest and after exercise
- Spirography
All exam statements and results must be authentic or certified as a true copy of the original.
A copy of the medical certificate will be stored with the proceedings of the Organizing Company of each
event to which the athlete with the “RUNCARD” takes part. These athletes will be regularly entered in the
race ranking, but they will not be able to enjoy reimbursements, bonuses or access the prize money and/or
generic gift vouchers.
Participants in the events may be subject to doping control. They are also subject to the provisions of
Article 25 of these Rules, if already subject to disciplinary suspension.
Please note:
• Athletes with card from other FEDERATIONS (e.g.: Triathlon) cannot take part.
• Athletes with card of Companies from Organization for Sports Promotion, recognized by CONI but not
affiliated with FIDAL, cannot participate.
• Medical certificates for competitive sports like running, walking, marathon, triathlon, half marathon
etc. are not valid for the purpose of this competition.
• Medical certificates for other competitive Sports are not valid for this competition.
GREEN PASS AND OTHER PARTICIPATION RULES
The Green Pass is mandatory to access the PolimiRun Winter 2021 Villages where the race kits will be
distributed in the days before the race; it will also be mandatory in order to participate in PolimiRun
Winter 2021.

• with the successful vaccination against SARS-CoV-2*;
• with the recovery from SARS-CoV-2 infection (6 months validity);
• with a molecular or antigen test with a negative result for the SARS-CoV-2 virus (48h of validity).
*The Green Pass is also issued following the administration of the first dose of the vaccine, in this case
the validity starts from the 15th day following the administration and lasts until the administration of
the second dose. From the completion of the vaccination cycle, the Green Pass is valid for 9 months.
If you have typical symptoms of Covid-19 or you have been in contact with a person who tested positive
in the days before the PolimiRun or you are subjected to quarantine measures or fiduciary isolation, do
not show up on the day of the PolimiRun.
We recommend that you follow the instructions that we will send you via email regarding the time and
place of meeting at the starting Village (Lecco Campus, via Ghislanzoni); it will be possible to access the
starting grids (in Via Ghislanzoni) in groups of 500 people maximum; departures will be staggered: a
group of 500 people will leave every 3 minutes. Competitive runners will start first.
We ask you to follow the instructions that will be given to you on site by the staff, to facilitate the entry
and exit operations from the Villages, the entry to the starting grids and the use of the services.
Remember to wear the mask whenever you are inside the PolimiRun Villages; you must absolutely wear
it up to 500 meters after the start, and wear it again as soon as you cross the finish line.
Keep your distance from other PolimiRunners and help us avoid crowds.
The mid-way refreshment and the final refreshment will include the distribution of sealed products only.
All PolimiRunners will be required to comply with the provisions in force on the day of the race.
In the days before the run we will give you more detailed information via email.
REGISTRATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION FEE

It will be possible to to register for the PolimiRun Winter 2021 from October 11 to November 5, 2021.
The organization reserves the right to open registrations before or after the aforementioned date and / or
to close registrations early or accept registrations after the closing date at its sole discretion.

REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION
Near the event, each member will receive an email with the bib number and how to collect it. This email
will be the only valid document for the collection of the racing bib; it must be printed and delivered to the
desk. If you do not receive the email, please write to: segreteria@sdam.it.
REIMBURSEMENT OF PARTICIPATION FEE
Registration fees are not refundable under any circumstances.

On Sunday 7 November 2021, REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

• Half-way and final refreshment with properly sealed products

• Bag collection service (active in the same place, days and times of the bibs distribution)

COLLECTION OF RACING BIB/BAG
The racing bib is strictly personal, it cannot be tampered with or reduced and it cannot be given to
anyone else, or you will be disqualified. The racing bib and the race pack can be withdrawn after showing
the registration receipt together with a copy of the medical certificate for competitive sports (if not sent
or delivered before) and a valid identity document, on the following days:
• Friday 5 November 2021 from 11 AM to 7:00 PM – Leonardo Campus, via Pascal
• Saturday 6 November 2021 from 10 AM to 5 PM – Lecco Campus, Via G. Previati 1/c
For organizational reasons, NO racing bibs and race packs will be given to the athletes on the morning
of 7 November 2021, day of the race.
Please note: Only residents from outside the region will be able to collect the racing bib, the chip and
the race pack on the morning of 7 November 2021, from 7:30 am to 9:00 am at the Village located in
Lecco Campus.
The organization reserves the right to change dates and times for bib collection. Any changes will be
communicated by email to each registered participant by 4 November 2021.
Together with the racing bib, every registered person will have: PolimiRun Winter official T-shirt, pins to
apply the bib number to the T-shirt, sticker to be attached to the bag during its storage and race pack

BAG CUSTODY SERVICE
Together with the racing bib, every participants will get an empty adidas bag and a sticker (showing the
bib number) that must be applied to the bag to take advantage of the bag storage service.
The provided bag, duly numbered by the application of the sticker, will be the only bag accepted by the
organization for the bag storage service and it can be delivered to the storage areas set up at the
PolimiRun Village in via Gaetano Previati 1/C, Lecco, on Saturday (from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm) and
Sunday (from 7:30 am to 9:00 am). Bags will be get back at the end of the race and until 1:00 pm.
START
The start of the Competitive race will be at 10:00 am from Via Ghislanzoni, Lecco Campus.
The starting methods will be communicated via the official website of PolimiRun Winter 2021 and via
email to all those registered in the days preceding the race.
Changes in the starting time will be possible in case of television needs, safety on the route or other
indications from the Institutions.
TIMEKEEPING DEVICE
The chronometric measurement will be performed by a “tracker” chip, managed by OTC Srl.
The time of athletes that, in any way, will tamper with the chip will not be taken and they will not be shown
in the race ranking.
Arrival times will be available at the end of the race on the website www.polimirun.it.

The prizes will consist of technical material and the athletes will be rewarded as follows

OTHER REGULATORY NOTES
The GGG can carry out the check of the Federal Card and the Identity of the Athlete as provided in Article
8-9 of the Activity Rules 2021 General Regulations.
Any complaints must be submitted within 30 minutes from the issuing of rankings of the category
concerned, at first verbally to the judge on the finish line, and then in writing to the appeal court with €Polisportiva Politecnico di Milano

50.00 as complaint fee that will be returned in case of acceptance of the complaint.
For anything not provided in this regulation, please refer to the applicable FIDAL regulations.
The organizers and Fidal decline all liability for accidents, thefts and damages that may occur before -
during and after the event.
HEALTH SERVICE
The organizing committee will prepare an appropriate medical assistance service on the route and at the
start and finish line.
TIME LIMIT
The time limit to arrive at km 10 is 1h and 40 minutes.
ATHLETE RESPONSIBILITY
The registered athlete is responsible for the ownership and custody of his race bib, acquiring the right to
take advantage of all the services mentioned in this regulation and subsequently communicated.
ARRIVAL
After the finish line, the athletes will be channeled towards the final refreshment and to following to the
arrival Village of PolimiRun Winter 2021.
COVID-19 CONTAGION RISK PREVENTION MEASURES
All participants will be required to comply with the provisions in force on the day of the race. The PolimiRun
Winter 2021 will take place in compliance with the regulations in force on the day of the race. In the days
preceding the PolimiRun Winter 2021 all registered athletes will receive via e-mail the provisions to be
followed on the day of the race.
NON-PERFORMANCE
If the race is canceled and / or, in any case, not held for reasons not dependent on and / or not attributable
to the will of the organizers, including the revocation of the authorization to carry it out by the competent
Public Bodies, for any reason, the subscriber cannot claim anything from the Polisportiva Politecnico di
Milano SSD or from other co-organizers, not even by way of reimbursement of the expenses incurred as
the signing of the registration application is also valis as a waiver of any claim for compensation for
damage and / or compensation and / or any reinstatement and / or satisfactory claim of any financial
damage suffered and undergoing.
DECLARATION OF RESPONSIBILITY
I declare to accept all rules published on the Web sites http://www.polimirun.it/ and www.otc-srl.it andPolisportiva Politecnico di Milano

to be 18 years old on the day of the event scheduled for 7 november 2021.
I am aware that participating in the PolimiRun Winter 2021 and/or in general to sporting events is
potentially a risky activity. I also declare to register voluntarily and I take complete responsibility for all the
risks coming from my participation in the event: falls, contacts with vehicles, with other participants, public
or other, weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold and/or wet, traffic and road conditions, every
kind of risk that I well know and I properly take into account.
Being aware of the above, considering the acceptance of my registration, I, on my behalf and in the interest
of no one else, relieve and free the Organizing Committee of PolimiRun Winter 2021, the Polisportiva
Politecnico di Milano SSD, A&C Consulting Sas and Politecnico di Milano, as well as the Municipal
Administration of Milan, the Provincial Administration of Milan, the Regional Administration of Lombardia,
all sponsors of the event, the Fidal - the GGGs, their representatives, successors, officials, directors,
members, agents and employees of the aforementioned companies, of all present and future claims or
responsibilities of any kind, known or unknown, coming from my participation in the event. Once the
registration to the PolimiRun Winter 2021 is accepted, the participation fee is non-refundable, even in
case of cancellation.
IMAGE RIGHT
With registration to the PolimiRun Winter 2021, the athlete expressly authorizes the Polisportiva
Politecnico di Milano SSD, A&C Consulting Sas, Politecnico di Milano, adidas and the promoters directly or
indirectly involved in the event, with television, film and photographic or other means, to use the image of
the undersigned during his/her participation in the PolimiRun Winter 2021 and to confirm, through this
declaration, the above mentioned authorization, by recognizing to all the institutions mentioned above
the widest right, but not obligation, to record, duplicate, print, publish and project them, disseminate and
use them by any means currently known or that will be invented in the future, without limits of time or of
any kind, all over the world and to sell them to third parties also for promotional and/or advertising
purposes. The Athlete also declares to have nothing to claim from the Polisportiva Politecnico di Milano
SSD, A&C Consulting Sas, Politecnico di Milano, Adidas and the promoting bodies directly or indirectly
involved in the event, and/or transferees and/or successors and in general by anyone who uses and takes
advantage by his/her image, being any claim of the Athlete fulfilled by the opportunity to take part in this
sporting event.
INFORMATION IN ACCORDANCE TO Leg. Decree 196/2003 (Code concerning the protection of
personal data )
Pursuant to and for the purposes of the new EU General Regulation on protection of personal data n.
679/2016, the personal identification data you communicated during the registration on the Web site
www.run.sport.polimi.it as participant in PolimiRun Winter 2021 and provided to the Sport Activity
Promotion Service of Politecnico di Milano will be directly processed and/or through authorized third
parties, only for what necessary to achieve the following purpose (please state the basis of treatment):
a) participation in the sporting event
b) sending information material related to activities promoted by the Sport Activity Promotion Service ofPolisportiva Politecnico di Milano

The data will not be disclosed to third parties except for the purposes indicated above.
Processing of personal data shall mean any operation or set of operations performed with or without the
use of automated processes and applied to personal data or sets of personal data, even if not recorded in
a database, such as collection, recording, organization, management, storage, processing, selection,
blocking, adaptation or modification, extraction, consultation, use, communication by transmission,
dissemination or any other form of making available, comparison or interconnection, limitation,
cancellation or destruction.
The personal data provided will be processed by the Sport Activity Promotion Service of Politecnico di
Milano on paper, computer or telematic mean.
DURATION OF DATA TREATMENT:
The data controller will process personal data for the period of time strictly necessary to achieve the
purposes for which such data have been collected.
ACCESS TO DATA:
1. Your data may be made available, for the purposes related, to employees and collaborators of the
Data Controller, as authorized persons and/or data processors;
2. to third parties who carry out outsourcing activities on behalf of the Data Controller, as data
processors, and in particular to: Team OTC SSD ARL; A&C Consulting Sas (or other co-owners)
NATURE OF DATA CONFERMENT AND CONSEQUENCES OF REFUSAL:
The consent to data processing, for the purposes related to point a), is compulsory. The lack of conferment
implies that you will not be allowed to participate in the “PolimiRun Winter” sporting event;
related to point b) is optional, and therefore, in this case, you can decide to not provide your consent,
however, you will not receive newsletters, communications and informative material concerning the
initiatives promoted by the Sport Activity Promotion Service of Politecnico di Milano and related to
activities or events promoted, more generally, by Politecnico di Milano.
RIGHT OF THE INTERESTED PARTY
You can, at any time, exercise the rights:
a. of access to personal data;
b. to obtain their correction or cancellation or the limitation of data processing related to him/her;
c. to refuse the data treatment;
d. of portability of data;
