“The World Association of Zoos and Aquariums
Sustainability Strategy is an important step for
the global zoo and aquarium community to
sustain a world in which both our societies and
                                              nature can thrive together.

By playing an active role in the implementation
                                              of the United Nations Sustainable

aquariums are not only leading organisations
in animal welfare, conservation, education and
research but are also paving the way for a more
sustainable future in which animals, people and
the health of the planet can thrive.

Therefore I am really happy that we have now
an additional guidance which will hopefully
