      13. Perceived Potential Conflict of Interest: Within the equestrian community there may be times when this occurs. For
guidance, it has been determined that a perceived/potential conflict of interest could arise in the event that an
appointed judge has a previous or current connection to a horse entered in the competition. Examples of such
connections and interests include, but not limited to, the following. The judge has; bred or previously owned the
horse, or acted as an agent in its sale; previously competed, trained or kept the horse at livery; previously or
currently had a financial or other interest in the horse. In the event that a judge/owner/rider (or their agent) knows
of, or should know of, any potential and/or perceived conflict of interest in a horse entered in the competition

                                                                     2
they must declare this to the Organiser as soon as it is known. Steps will be taken to manage it as practically as
        possible.
    14. It is a condition of entry that all riders, owners, grooms, and their connections/relatives, must conduct themselves
and communicate in a respectful manner towards the public, officials, and all other parties present or entered in
the competition. Such behaviour includes respect for the Judges and their decisions, which are final. Offensive
behaviour, and/or other violations of this condition, may lead to sanctions such as disqualification and future bans.

Further the Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to the event to any person or to withdraw permission at any time to

dress. Maximum height of fences 0.90m (4 year olds) 1.05m (5 year olds). Fall of horse or

SECTION III Conformation (12 marks) and Quality (8 marks)
Note: following Section III, the ten horses with the highest marks will proceed to section IV. In
the event of equality of marks at this stage, the horse with the higher jumping mark will be
given precedence. Should this still produce an equality of marks, all horses on that same
                jumping mark will come forward.

SECTION IV Suitability and Potential
Only the top ten horses are required for this section where they will be judged for potential

will be required to gallop one at a time. The 4 year olds will only be required to show a forward
moving canter indicating they could learn to gallop with further development and maturity. It
is the responsibility of the rider to ensure they present themselves in time for this section which
is scheduled to follow immediately after the last horse in Section III, failure to do so may result in
             elimination.
Note: in the event of equality of marks at the end, i.e. after all four sections, the jumping mark
will be given precedence. Should this still produce an equality of marks, the highest mark
attained in the final section will be the deciding factor.
