    Hot Spots and Not Spots
    Research Reveals Unpredictable Pattern of VHSV Infections

                            W                  isconsin Sea Grant-funded

                            This invasive pathogen can cause affected fish
                            to die. Since the early 2000s, it has caused
                            deaths in more than 30 fish species in the Great

                           Four new members joined the Advisory Council of Wisconsin Sea Grant in fall 2020. Invited to serve by
                           the organization and officially appointed by the University of Wisconsin-Madison chancellor, these indi-
                           viduals help shape Sea Grant’s future, enabling it to better serve the people of Wisconsin. The four new
