Before the YETS-PSB (PSB-LIU)
• Manual crane, extension BRF2
 • All material delivered
 • Supports traced by SU in the vault
 • Installation foreseen in November
 • Necessary for the 2nd part of YETS
   (after cable pulling) to install the power
   converters

YETS-PSB-I (PSB-LIU)
• Cover for the enlarged
  tremie:
  • arrived
  • some modifications are
     necessary to adapt the
     barriers in situ (design on-
     going, soon the Impact)
  • Test for installation in
     YETS
  • It won’t remain in place (no
     need to walk on the tremie
     before LS2
  • Needs to be stored
     somewhere in the PSB
     (basement in vertical
     position?): this is an
     infrastructure belonging to
     the PSB, no need for
     transport

YETS-PSB-II (PSB LIU)
•   Manuel crane for BSW (IR) – to be coupled with PSB ring cranes
•   Lifting jacks and trolleys delivered
•   Delivery of crane structure in Mid November
•   Installation and tests during YETS
•   All ok for LS2

YETS L2-L3-PS
• No HE installations

LS2-PS (L4-PSB connect)
• Telescopic crane in the PS switchyard (BI-LBE-
  LBS)
• Delivery of the crane in November 2017,
  installation when needed (planned for LS2)

LS2-L2 (L4-PSB connect)
• Displacement of the electric + hydraulic board
  of the lift to allow SMB to poor a new shielding
  wall

Handling operations PSB in YETS
•   Power converters installation BRF2 and BAT361 (installation of temporary steel
    floor on the false floors)
•   Support to CV for ventilation duct above the ring, injection & extraction ?

Handling operations PS Ring and TT2 line in
                      YETS

• Removal of 32 magnets (all) in the ATP loop + consolidation works of
  15 magnets in the TT2 (Consolidation project)*
    • Time constraint
    • Dimensions of the shaft (reduced with years) and height of the ATP
       doors are the major technical constraints that we had to address
• Installation of L3 Ion Dump: exchange of the actual vacuum pipe with a Y
  one equipped with a small dump (LIU-Ions) in the switchyard*
• Decabling of the central galleries of PS + building 368, 359, 353: support to
  EL (removal of containers….)*
•    installation New Rotatable Beam Wire Scanner Prototype**
•    Installation of 9 BPM into the injection line between LEIR and PS**

        *well in advance contact with Tech cord plus ad-hoc meeting with the owner groups
                                                          ** discovered by reading an ECR

Consolidation of ~15 quadrupoles into the
TT2 line
 • Removal of magnets (bunch of 5) from TT2 line and installation into the ATP
   loop for VCS and MSC works
 • Removal of old magnets via shaft into the AD square
 • Arrival of new magnets
 • Installation in the ATP loop for VSC and MSC works
 • Installation into the TT2 line
