Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Welcome to this year’s Town of Oyster Bay Summer Fun Guide, filled with fun and exciting programs for
families and seniors to enjoy. Whether you like swimming in one of our pools, visiting our beautiful beaches, playing
golf at our championship course in Woodbury or ice skating in our indoor venue in Bethpage, there is something
for everyone. Town crews have been preparing our parks and facilities to make your summer staycation one to
remember, while maintaining safety for you and your families. Our “Music Under the Stars” popular summer concert
series, featuring our “Movies by Moonlight” events, will also return to local parks or beaches this year.
While we offer many exciting activities, summer in the Town of Oyster Bay also provides plenty of opportunities
to slow things down. If you enjoy relaxing in a beach chair along the shore, leisurely walks in the park, picnics, biking,
boating, kayaking or fishing, we’ve got you covered! You don’t have to go far to have a great summer to remember
– you can enjoy a staycation right here in the Town of Oyster Bay. To help ensure the safety of all who visit, most
facilities and events are limited to Town residents and their guests – be sure to check our website for the most up
to date information.

Joseph J. Saladino Memorial Marina at TOBAY
A transient boat basin situated in South Oyster Bay via the TOBAY heading. Facilities are restricted
to Town of Oyster Bay resident boat owners or lessee of boats who submit proof of ownership and
residency. Frequent visitors can purchase a membership card for discounted pricing online at www.
oysterbaytown.com/tobay-application. The boat basin is open 24 hours a day beginning Saturday, May
8, 2021 through September 19, 2021; then all Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from September 24, 2021
through October 31, 2021 (except during the boat show).
Seasonal Dinghy, Canoe and Kayak Racks
Rentals begin March 1, 2021. Contact the Parks
Department’s Beaches Office in Town Hall South for
rental applications. Season runs from April 1, 2021
through December 31, 2021.
Resident: $150.00
Non-Resident: $300.00
Limit two kayaks per rack. All other vessels limit one.

Pool Memberships
Pool memberships may be obtained at each location beginning May 29th. Memberships available at community
park pools for park district and non-park district residents. Daily admission rates, nanny memberships and

Swimming Lessons
The Town offers swimming lessons to pool members ages 5+. Upon becoming a member of the pool, you
may obtain an application to register for swimming lessons at the facility. Completed application must be
submitted by mail only. Four swim sessions are available.

Anyone interested must pass a 30-hour American
Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course. For more

The Town features more than a dozen dog-friendly
neighborhood parklets. All dogs must be kept on a leash
while visiting the parklet. Owners are required to clean up

The Summer Recreation Program is permitted to operate by the Nassau County Department of Health, who is required to inspect our camp twice a year
