E2 MS and Obsolescence Management From the initial product idea right through to readiness for series production: TQ, a competent partner for a wide variety of industrial concerns, develops and produces elec- tronic modules and devices exactly to customer specifica- tions. An active Obsolescence Management rounds out the spectrum of services and makes TQ a lifelong partner for you - at least for your product lifecycle. From Concept to Finished Product DEVELOPMENT – Using the newest technologies, we provide sophisticated hardware and software solutions – from the initial concept right through to readiness for series produc- tion – for virtually all areas of electronics (e.g. automation technology, medical engineering, and measuring systems). PRODUCTION – Using state-of the-art production equipment – from high-speed automatic placement – by way of nitrogen soldering – right through to automatic bonding – we produce electronic PCB assemblies with both conventional and the latest innovative technologies.

TESTING – Our products are tested using up-to-date measur- ing and testing procedures – from in-circuit tests – by way of flying-probe tests, boundary-scan tests and burn-in tests, right through to end-to-end functional tests – individually and exactly to customer specifications. Obsolescence Management Obsolescence is the lack of delivery by the original supply source and the consequent lack of availability due to various influences.

The result of obsolescence is that the required product avail- ability, which can exceed 50 years in many business sectors, can no longer be achieved. In addition, an efficient strategy for handling Product Change Notifications (PCNs) and Product Discontinuance Notifications (PDNs) is absolutely necessary. TQ is operating an active Obsolescence Management. Particu- larly in new developments, it is a great advantage to incorpo- rate the current lifecycle status of the components. Monitoring current assemblies allows clients to be proactive rather than reactive. All in all, the long-term availability of assemblies and systems benefits clients because of the considerable added val- ue. The video transmission system complies with DIN EN/IEC 60601-1 and DIN EN/IEC 60601-1-2. Therefore, the system is suitable for patient-side applications.
