It is impossible to make generalised statements here; as sleep- + or
ing bags differ in warmth. Do not be fooled by the thickness
of the sleeping bag material, as they have different thermal
values. However, the measuring unit "TOG" can be drawn upon 18 –20 °C + +
as a reference value. "TOG" indicates the thermal conductivity
resistance of textiles and tells you how warm your baby is at
a certain room temperature in a particular sleeping bag. The 16 –18 °C
+
higher the "TOG" value, the warmer the baby. The LIEBMICH
sleeping bag has a "TOG value" of 2.5 and is therefore a sleep-
ing bag for all year round. The clothing of your baby should be < 16 °C
adapted according to the appropriate "TOG" value.

The numerous duvets available make the choice
more dificult. For the selection of a suitable
duvet, thermal requirements and the duvet
and filling materials should primarily be
considered.
• Thermal requirements: Is a summer, winter, all-year
round or combination duvet required?
• Material: Duvets made from TENCEL® are well-known
for their outstanding moisture management; cotton
covers provide good air circulation, down covers are airy
and lightweight and special ibre covers are very easy-
care.
