              MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR
As Mayor of the County of Cork, I am delighted to invite you all to participate in
                                                                                                            COUNTY HALL
Culture Night this year. Culture Night is an All-Island event which takes place this year
on Friday the 20th of September 2019.

It is a wonderful opportunity for us all to experience the best that our county’s
culture has to offer, across a vast array of disciplines including Music, Poetry and
Literature, Languages, Heritage, Drama, Arts/Crafts, Architecture and so much more.
                                                                                             W E
The continuing success of Culture Night is entirely to the credit of the amazing
groups and artists who take part and I wish to thank everyone involved.

I also wish to acknowledge the work of the Council’s Arts Office Team and Culture
Night Coordinator, Muireann Kelleher for helping to organise this great celebration
of culture and creativity. This booklet is a very useful guide to all that is on offer for
Culture Night. The financial support of the Department of Culture, Heritage and the S
Gaeltacht is also acknowledged and appreciated.

All events are Free of Charge, and there is something here for all of the family so I
encourage everyone to take part and enjoy everything that Culture Night in County
Cork has to offer in 2019.

                                                                                                          COUNTY HALL
