Service Repair Policy
There is a minimum $200 service charge for repair work completed on all 3M™ Petrifilm Plate Readers that are out
of warranty. This $200 fee covers the receipt, check-in and diagnostic work required to develop an estimate of the
repair cost. The $200 diagnostic fee is waived if you consent to have the 3M Health Care Service Center repair the
3M Petrifilm Plate Reader per the repair estimate provided. A service repair estimate is available upon request or if
the repair estimate exceeds $500. Loaner units are available at no cost for use during the repair process. Please call
1-800-328-6553 if you are experiencing problems with your 3M Petrifilm Plate Reader.

The 3M™ Microbial Luminescence System (MLS) is a rapid assay specifically designed to detect
the presence of microbial ATP in Ultra High Temperature (UHT) and aseptically packaged fluid
milk. 3M has harnessed ATP bioluminescence as a proven, effective method for dairy end product
screening. The 3M MLS allows faster positive release of products over 48 hours sooner than
traditional methods, in a semi-automated format for high throughput applications.

Service Repair Policy
There is a minimum $95 service charge for repair work completed on all 3M™ Electronic Pipettors that are out of
warranty. This $95 fee covers the receipt, check-in and diagnostic work required to develop an estimate of the repair
cost. The $95 diagnostic fee is waived if you consent to have the 3M Health Care Service Center repair the 3M Electronic
Pipettor per the repair estimate provided. A service repair estimate is available upon request or if the repair estimate
exceeds $200. Loaner units are available at no cost for use during the repair process. Allow for a 3-day lead time.
